The brits would never do something as tasteless as Mount Rushmore.

whats so tasteless than taking a sacred landmark of the Lakota people and carving the faces of a couple of elected leaders on it?

Chris Atherton and three of his odd setups.
-
Rowley, Penny, Rattray, Tom Knox
Alex Moul is my personal favourite though but i thinkthose 4 probably had the most significant impact on me other than Alex.

Avi
Andy Scott
Ben Jobe
Penny
Never would I think I would see a Ben Jobe reference here. That dude was always drinking super tenants skating hella fast doing the nicest kickflips. He was roommates with Clyve Daily back in the day down in Peckham Rye.
If I had to pick 4 British skaters they would have to be SB locals when I lived there.
Toby Shaull
John Neasden
Winston Whittier
Clyve Daily
Obviously Penny, Mcann and those guys were popular because they made it across the pond so to speak. Maybe I’m just being nostalgic but those dudes above were some of my closest friends and favorite skaters at the time.

i dont trust anyone who doesnt include rowley. deluded brains will not include him

Rowley, Penny, Rattray, Tom Knox
Those were the first 4 that came to my mind as well

Gotta go Rowley, Shier, Penny and Nick Jensen. I’m just a dumb Polish guy though

All the names I would have put as the actual Mount Rushmore have already been said, but I think Danny Wainwright deserves an honourable mention, maybe a little statue near the gift shop or something. The big ollie thing is sort of all he's known for but I saw him skate twice in person and he was just a one man wrecking ball, destroying parks and a street spot. Really good and his footage doesn't do him justice.

Glad he’s been brought up. Was absolutely incredible to see skate in the flesh. Better than most of the skaters mentioned, barring maybe 3. Seriously doesn’t get the credit he deserves, probably because he didn’t have that one career defining video part (by his own admission).

Tom Penny
Bod Boyle
Korahn Gayle
John Rattray
Geoff Rowley

harry, Lee Dainton, Mathew Pritchard, sumner
Props for that call.
-
Penny, Rowley, Don Brown, Steve Douglas.
Bod Boyle if any of the rock faces falls off and they have to begin anew.
-
Penny and Rowley are undeniable
other honourable mentions...
Sean Smith - arguably one of the best tech skaters full stop, not just UK
Paul Hayward - the English Mike Carroll

Yep, also had the pleasure of seeing him skate in person a few times and he's defo top 5 pros I've ever seen. As mentioned, never had a video part that did him justice, his 411 profiles was the closest but even that was nowhere near showing how impressive he was in person. Not many people have the world's highest ollie, can do flip grabs on vert, can skate legit rails and gaps and also do pro level tech stuff. In comparison to the others mentioned I'd pick either him or Rattray as the "best" British skater ever in terms of ability, personally I prefer watching Rattray but they were both criminally underrated by most people though they seem to be massively respected by industry people.
