Title: Should I buy Carpet skateboards?
Post by: graibe on November 07, 2022, 03:37:11 PM
I have a friend who dated the guy Osama Abdeldayem from carpet a couple years ago and now I see their shit in skate shops all the time. Kinda pissed at myself for not taking advantage of the moment and getting some free boards or merch because now they broke up. How do we feel about Carpet Skateboards? They're kinda pricey and that guy cheated on my friend so idk if i'd personally buy one but I like the designs.

Did he ever have a full video part? I know he had some clips in the Shorty's T-Stance video, nothing in How To Go Pro.

When I was a tubby little bag of meat I had a sequence on my wall of Anthony Mosley nollie nose sliding a rail. I’d stare at it all the time when I wasn’t thinking about cheese sandwiches. Hope Anthony’s doing well these days.

We can talk grilling?
Propane or coals?
Seasoning them before use.

We pull the silver skin off ribs. I had ribs at a fancy steak spot Friday and it had the silver skin and I was like what the actual fuck.

I’ve been using a flat stainless griddle on my propane grill more often recently and it’s finally got a good layer of seasoning to the point where I can cooks full breakfast on it.

I'm not sure man. You should do your research and see if their politics align with yours. Then, and only then, shall you make a choice.

This is the answer. I picked up a Blackstone Adventure Griddle last year and my grill has been neglected ever since.
Cooking an entire slab of bacon, 8 eggs and a pound of hashbrowns at the same time on one surface is fuckin awesome.
Also great for making smash burgers and stir fry, so don't sleep on those.

i dont know about any brand named carpet, but theres this brand called "disordered" skatebaords run by this dude/pro named nyjah

i did my research on it and found his skating to pique my interest. he also dresses like me and the slimes in school, so it was a no brainer

while doing research i heard about some rapey allegations about him on this site (this is why i have an account here) but trust me, he's a total bro and not a rapist so i ended up purchasing a board

i ended up focusing it after fucking up a pop shuv down a curb (very heated sesh)

so idk, just do your research and buy it if comfortble mans. best of luck with carpet

The ultimate test is going to be making Teppan style fried rice on it. Just ordered a stainless steel spatula set w/ a proper scraper. That is how I know I'm getting old.....the level of stoke I feel about ordering cooking utensils lol

I'm actually on the market for a good wok right now, specifically to up my fried rice and stir fry game for the winter.
(gets too cold here to go outside and use the Blackstone)
Main bummer is I have an electric stove so I gotta find a flat bottom wok and as far as I've heard, it'll never be the same as a wok on an open flame.

I always brine my turkey for Thanksgiving. While it makes the meat taste delicious and tender, it ruins the gravy. i always used to use the drippings to bulk it up, and have since stopped.
