Should have cleaned up her hippie jump but ollieing big 3 and switch ollieing 5 was impressive. I liked them both til winner was announced and I realized who she was.

Definitely didn't expect 1st try ollie the 3block. I stood up there for like 20mins before finally convincing myself to ollie it. The run up is an upwards slope, you can't even see where you're gonna land. Made me panic.
So yeah +1 respect, but also -1400 for everything

some people just don't skate switch or nollie. one of my best friends has a pretty good variety of flip tricks and other stuff on lock but can barely switch ollie lol i imagine it can become kind of a vicious cycle if you don't get comfortable with it early on because once you get a few years down the road it's probably a bit embarrassing so you just don't even want to try around other people

It’s way more embarrassing to not attempt a switch ollie up a ledge than it is to try and bail. So weak that it actually made me root for the Cariuma rider instead.

julia really can skate. but somehow she seems off in these games so far. i don't know. i think she could take it.
she's quite a few leagues ahead of all the other contestants...

Mostly alright. Looked like roos got caught out with some stuff she's never (or barely) tried before (switch/nollie hardflips, nollie lip come out in the middle, fakie noseslide)

Saw both of them skate in real life. Roos rips on bigger stuff actually. And Julia is pretty tech ...
This was a weird watch to be honest.
Also Roos should try to get on etnies or something. I hate seeing her in cariuma crap ... she deserves better.

So the rules of using the picnic table and that you have to alternate obstacles were forgotten about in this game or something. With the alternating obstacles rule, does that not mean you can't do two flatground tricks in a row?
Maybe they never thought about it until now but, imho, this K/Q of Macba seems like it shouldn't allow flatground at all. The point is that it's at MACBA, use the plaza, right? Judging by the ending of this game, some tech guru could enter one of these and take everyone out by only just doing flatground.
Not hating on Julia though, blame it on the rules/judges. Ultimately it just made it for a lackluster ending to the QOM finals.

Maybe just make it you can only do one flatground trick or one every five sets or something. But I guess it's not that different to all the other times they've figured out someone's weakness and just repeated it eg Ollie all the different stairs or do multiple nosemanuals etc
