I'm not really loyal to any brands anymore. Whatever works best or is cheapest.
Still, I ain't buying the half-price RipnDip board from the local shop lol... So I guess I still avoid certain brands that seem incredibly lame.

Not a huge brioche fan, but you’re spot on there.
Those ones they sell at Aldi are better than anything else by far.
Heads up too, nobody actually makes wagyu burgers, it’s just a fattier mince.

Oh yeah I know but they have two types of burgers and the normal ones shrink to like half size when cooked. I don't think I'm actually getting great quality for the price but it's worth the extra 50c (altho I do actually think they're pretty nice)

Rao's sauce
do you still add everything to it to amp it up? i do. a lot of people say you don’t need to since it already has most of it in there. i still add my vegetables, meat (obviously) & seasonings. i also do a minimum of a 6 hour simmer with frequent stirs. after 6 hours the ingredients in the sauce really do merge together beautifully & it thickens it perfectly to where it sticks to the noodles instead of being a semi soupy consistency all around it. let me know your method!

Is that for real? I usually just add my extra seasonings and boil the sauce for ten minutes. 6 hours is pretty mindblowing. I am not a cook by any means tho.

Wondering how the exchange rate screws with that for you.
Like for example, at today’s rate, you would only get a little less than 20% of a US dollar-Lave deck for one Brazilian real-Lave deck.
I’m pretty sure I’d rather have a whole Brazilian-made deck than just the tail of an American one.

If u save some of the pasta water and add a splash when you're mixing your noods and sauce it'll enhance that sauce-noodle adhesion

yes trust me. next time you make spaghetti if you have the time to spare, try out a 6 hour simmer on it with frequent stirs. makes all the difference.

yeah i always add a quarter-half cup of pasta water along with it as well to add starchy-ness. i buy the cheapest noodles they have to make my pasta water & i use the better ones for my actual noodles. i butter/salt the noodles i use for my actual spaghetti right after cooking them as well.

I don't always buy from these brands but I back them.
Black Label - they keep skateboarding about skateboarding and I love the style the team brings
SkateOne - the marketing and graphics are kind of whatever and somewhat dated, but they make stuff that works really well at multiple price points and release things that shake up the industry on occasion (ie Dragons)
Polar - the pants are really good quality and perfect for people with big thighs like me without restricting any range of motion. I just wish they were cheaper but it's pretty easy to find them on sale
For anything else I get what works (trucks, shoes, etc).

It would be wild if marketing got so precise you would turn on your screen and see an advert for every brand you just listed, but then there would be no point as you are already a targeted consumer, and then you die in shame of what you have become.

Another DLX fanboy (mostly AH, SF, Krooked and Thunder). Just consistently good quality, like the way they represent skateboarding (mostly) and great customer service.
NB Numeric, only big shoe Co I'm comfortable repping.
Ace. Rad product and the two main players have had amazing roles in truck and skateboarding history.
