I've always appreciated the guy. Buttery-ass Mondays was/is the only good thing the berries ever did. Like him or not, his vids were ahead of their time (IMO) considering what YouTube has become:

The berries had a falling out with Donovan when he was promoting the Project Session game. Apparently he was playing hardball and Borra got his feelings hurt.
Hope Donovan is doing OK. In my opinion the dude is a genius.

Hopefully everything turns out okay for him. Crazy he’s had it since 2011. Luckily it wasn’t a gliobastoma, which is a most certain death sentence.

Yeah I remember that. But still, no reason they couldn’t do it despite a falling out, maybe mend the relationship in the process.

Hope he makes a recovery. Like everyone has said, Buttery Ass Mondays and early BATB were the only things I liked about the Berries.
My best friend was diagnosed with brain cancer a few years back and went MIA for a bit. He was in a real dark place for a while but he seems to be recovering and we’re going snowboarding this weekend.

Back in the early 00's this dude was so fun to hang with in the shop at Skatelab. It really didn't matter if you were timid or outgoing, old or young, new or very familiar with the culture. Donovan was very approachable and fun to be around in the shop. Wishing this dude the best moving forward.

Me and my friends loved Donovan's berrics videos. We still quote them to this day. One of our favorites was Donovan talking about staying up so late you achieve the buttery ass mind zone and start thinking differently. When he got in that mind zone skating the dark streets he got some fast food and went to eat the burger upside down, redefining his burger experience.
Another good one where he was hustling for date money, buying a bulk pack of fruit drinks and selling them at a skate park for profit. And his stop motion notepad sketches talking about how you don't talk to cops. Some of these vids seem to be lost to time, I'd love to watch the buttery ass mindzone vid again.
