Not sure if this deserves its own topic but also didn't want to hijack the Sale thread. Feel free to move.

I recently slipped out in my Crocs and realized that the sole was totally gone, so I think I'm gonna get some of those Vans TRK fake-Crocs from a sale.
Maybe another set of Swiss for the year 2025 (I'm definitely stocked through '24).
-

Light puffer for layering on the winter sesh's
and a Dime hat :)

-
Thunder hollow light hi 148s and possibly a Violet deck I've been eyeing for months, depending on whether or not the shop websites actually have Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales.
-
X99 v1 (or x97, cant decide)
Allen Hardware
Maybe 144 Indy hollows. (149 is pretty great on 8.38 though)
My desires are few, and I don’t go through gear fast enough to warrant stocking up :/

Sony - 85" Class X80K Series LED 4K HDR Smart Google TV

Realistically I don't really need any more things at the moment...Or do I...
An extra set of wheels and a hat might be neat.

I could go for another good hat. 100% cotton. Preferably advertising a dope company/shop.

what’s the edge over a Samsung?

Christmas gifts for friends and family.
I hate last minute Christmas shopping. Plus the added sales allow my budget to go further.
But for myself? Dickies white pocket tees. The ones I have now are getting on the gross dingy side.
-
Nothing, I already spend too much in a monthly basis.

wool fucking socks

don't do it, they are terrible shoes. absolutely no comfort and fit kinda wonky. They're a water shoe at most, nothing like a croc

Agreed. They're great when I go to the beach. I can go from sand, to water, back to sand, then to my car where I can put on real shoes when I need to walk — I hate slippers and exposing my feet.
-
Thanks for the feedback, guys. I guess I’ll skip them and just buy some new Crocs.
-
some ace 80's, hollow 77's and hopefully some venture 6.1 v-hollows, 5.8 v-casts, maybe some swiss 6.
no shoes, do not buy shoes!!!!!! so probbaly some shoes.
-
Definitely bearings if I can find. Some 56-58 spitfires maybe if theres a good deal.
Maybe this belongs in the sale gear thread but who’s got the best deal on Swiss?
-
Conical/ Conical Full and/or Radials: 52-54mm tempted by those new orange Sci Fi ones too! Definitely want a colored pair of wheels for a change :P
Bones Bearings
Wool socks
Mob Grip
Don't need anything else tho

I also totally agree. I tried those Vans on because they were on sale at Ross and they didn’t fit well at all and were kinda stiff. Got a pair of Crocs sandals instead, kind of like a Birkenstock shape, and they’re so comfortable. They look super goofy but I don’t care. They feel so good on my feet and a lot of my back pain has gone away. I’d like think it’s from wearing Crocs and NB#’s that have been saving my feet and back.

Mini Cooper GP3
Hell yeah. The lady just got a 2022 Cooper S and I fuckin love driving it
-

This. I'm good on skate gear BUT, maybe a worrest slick...if the deals are good.
April Mariano by Gonz + TBD Brand 9" trucks (either 66s or 166s, leaning towards the latter)
My Synology NAS from 2010 just died (2 very slow WD 2GB drives Raid/backup are fine so data is good)...sssssoooo new NAS hardware and some 2x 3-4TB drives.
Cyberpunk 2077+expansion
Annual bottle of Spice Bomb Extreme

$40 maxallure pgi 8.25
$7 ace bushings

-
Sony - 85" Class X80K Series LED 4K HDR Smart Google TV
The operating system in these for apps pisses me off like no other. I’m close to getting an Apple TV or something else to run my apps
-
TV software is the worst; I do everything via pc, series x or ps5.

303. I snagged Swiss Ceramics and a set of wheels for less than $120.

So far, a set of Mini-logo bearings, Thunder hollow light his, three sheets of Mob, and three sets of generic hardware - $108 total
Also two boards - one Quasi proto and one Real classic oval - for $80 total
Tomorrow I'm planning on copping a Girl board that'll probably be $90 after tax and shipping. After that, I really need to stop.

All this is solid. Mini logo bearings are great and easily cleaned, the proto shape is great and I like the mellow concave, girl wood has that snap and I also grabbed a set of venture hollow hi’s. Sounds like you maintained balance this self inflicted shopping season

I hope it is as mellow as my last pgi deck, which also had A huge tail .
I bought a consolidated pgi two weeks ago on their site and they sent the wrong size and it was too steep. But it’s the bunny giving the other bunny her foot so it’s a classic graphic, and the shape looks really fun to ride. It’s an 8.375 and the taper combined with the concave is going to be great outdoors, after the winter. They said the wheelbase of the 8.25 was 13.75 so I was excited to get that deck, but the one they sent one has a 14.3 wheelbase. I’m just looking for the mellow pgi mainly for winter indoor because my space is super small and I will ride the consolidated next spring.
I thought all pgi were mellow from reading posts here, and the only pgi that I did have was mellow.

Anodized AF-1 55, lock in full, 2 Jacuzzi boards, 1 GX1000 board, some Thunder bolts, HKD5, a projector and I think that's it. Overall like 40% on everything

X99 v1 (or x97, cant decide)
Allen Hardware
Maybe 144 Indy hollows. (149 is pretty great on 8.38 though)
My desires are few, and I don’t go through gear fast enough to warrant stocking up :/
Good looks fam thank you for the support

The OS on my Samsung TV (I assume some slimmed down Linux variant) is such a phenomenal piece of shit. It’s remarkable how much worse something as simple as a television has become as technology has marched “forward”.

Well where I live, it's originally $95 and with 20% off it comes to $75, then shipping and tax. But I actually just checked and it'll be $109 and that's a bit too much, so fuck it.
And thanks @theloniousmonk I'm hyped on the mini-logos, had a set before and I'm pretty sure they outperformed a set of Swiss 6 balls.

Hey, nobody’s perfect
All it took was one throwaway set of Silverados that I thought “what the hell”… and now I can’t ever go back to the X’s. The hexagons are just too beautiful, and functional.
Thank you Allen for the far superior bolts.

I bought a beanie (lost mine somewhere) and the new Sugar mag and grabbed a copy of the new free mag. Impressed at my self control as was 25% off store wide..was super temped to get a set of spitfires.. might go back hahahaha.

Another pair of suede Tyshawn low’s. They’re the only shoe that I’ve ever had that I have had no complaints about. They’re so damn durable and the flick doesn’t run out even well into the life of the shoe. The soles don’t bald out either.
I was thinking about getting a pair of New Balance 1010’s, but the plastic lace hole on the top of them concerns me with it getting ripped off. Changed my mind on them.

no problems with the plastic lace cover for me at least. as obvious as it is the biggest concern is the mesh along the toe. that got roughed up after one heelflip.
if the model u get is leather u should be set. i dislike chunky cupsoles but 1010s felt perfect after breaking in

Interesting. I actually scooped up the all black suede pair. I went half a size down on them this time. The first time I got them, I went with my regular size and there was waaay too much dead space in the forefoot. Hopefully going half a size down on the 1010s this time will counteract this.
How long would you say it takes for them to break in? All the reviews I’ve watched and read on them say they’re really stiff at first. What I’m most curious about is how well the stretch and mold to your foot shape. How long does that usually take? Specifically the toe area. Do they break-in in such a way that lets you spread and spay your toes all the way, or does it stay cramped, if at all?

For me 1010 takes like 5 min the break in but I'm a person who usually skates 808 so in comparison everything comes already ready to skate.
