My city is finally getting a concrete skate park. The only problem is...the proposed designs are relatively small...only 6200-6800 sq. feet. The park is being built along side a pump track. The local skateboard community suspects that the results of a previous survey was skewed by people pushing for a focus on a pump track. The money committed by the municipality(and other groups) is supposed to be split 50/50 between the park and the pump track. However, the pump track is expected to be the largest in the province of Ontario. Skateparks do cost more than asphalt tracks, but a 6200 square foot park is not going to adequately accommodate the number of skaters that will be using it. If you are in Ontario(or not) and may visit our park, please fill out the survey below in support of a skate park. Thank you!

Thank you! Design #3 is my choice too.

Just filled out the survey, I also chose design 3
I’m from ontario and it irks me that it seems like the provincial govt. has cheaped out on or misjudged the popularity of the skatepark aspect, especially considering there’s some great concrete parks around the province (Silvercreek park in Guelph for example).
Also I’ve never seen a pump track used more than a skatepark so idk what the need for a massive pump track is
Really hope you guys get a nice concrete park

filled it out - chose design 3. best of luck!

done. Pump tracks are nice for getting the legs warmed up quick but take up an unnecessary amount of space and resources that could be spent on a real skate/bmx park.
-
Completed it. Best of luck!
-
Done. Wonder how an asphalt pump track will hold up with the ground freezing and thawing up there?

picked design 3 as well! Hoping the people at the pump track don't leak out to the skatepark and congest the park, I always see little kids eating shit hard at pump tracks
-
All in! Best of luck!

Done.
Went with Design 3, looked like it had the best flow of the three.
Good luck with it!

I'm from Germany and will never end up there but I gave you my vote for option 3.
