Hat always. But I’ve pretty much worn a hat everyday for 20 years. Been rocking this Seasons hat I bought early COVID. Seems like it’s wool/wool blend and never stinks. Eyelets on the side are rusty but it’s going strong. I probably just jinxed yet.

Beanie late fall-early spring, baseball cap the rest of the year. I’m super pale I still have to wear sunscreen in the winter so I pretty much always have to wear a hat if the suns out. Tried once to put sunscreen on my forehead but of course once I started to sweat and that shit went in my eyes it was no fun.

I'm on my second Skatepark of Tampa mesh cap (both black). The first one was great but eventually got pretty nasty, and faded in the sun, and then it got warped when I threw it in the washing machine in a last ditch effort to clean it. But the hat was great, so I bought a few more.
I bought one of these in the camo colorway and was ready to put it to use until I realized those potheads at SPoT sent me one that had the logo screened on at an angle. I already look way too stupid on a skateboard, and that hat would've been overkill, so I donated that hat to Goodwill. I was still happy to give SpOT my money though.

Im kinda all over the place. In the summer im def not. Im sick of having bad skin. I never had that back in the. I know its from old hats i cant let go of yet.
Ive been thinking of going back to jst durags because theyre basically disposable and mostly have nothing on them.

I'm 50/50. If it's outside in summer, my trusty Bronze hat. If it's in a cool place or in the colder months- and this is gonna sound lame as fuck- a volcom visor beanie.
I remember last year in the summer I had it on at the parking garage with like whole ass Tom Penny fit with like the gum/gold brown Etnies Kingpins on and I got clowned on rightfully so.

I almost bought a purple one of these $7 caps today when I was in Lynn. I skated like 6 years in the green. The black one is like 12 months old.

When I had money to waste and I heard that MJ was fealing down I was gonna send the green to him with my red Dave mustaine wig to him but I thought better of it.
I didn't wanna kick off an outbreak. MJ might've wound up being Patient Zero cuz of the funk that cannot be washed out of this now wall piece.
I sold one before. It was dope but I don't like ripping up shit just yo patch it back. Just like I don't like distressed logos for bands.
To eachs own I guess. Really you just gotta fold it up with the brim inside the hat and skate with it sticking out your back pocket. That's why I wear these. They fold up and the brim is concaved to my exact butt dimensions. I think they're called jeep hats.
Anyway the green one only works if you're bald. It sits on top kinda. I'm a size Irish. Like a 7.75 I think. I folded under the band where a snap back would be located so my charged scullet is more exposed.
I been thinking of doing that cut again. But idk if I wanna look like a psycho rn. I'm kinda liking my long shaggy cave man rn. I feel like the ultimate warrior when I see the back of my head when looking at concert footage. When I'm on stage I am the fuckin ultimate warrior. I lose my body and become just energy. It's like the audio signal I'm creating is my body. I gotta figure out a way to reach into the pit and help everyone find a higher state of being community.
My soul leaves me when I circle pit. I seen it when I was tripping even. The hand came down from the ceiling and pulled us right out of our bodies. I could see my friends who I miss dearly everyday.
Anyway I guess my hats make me think about this type of thing ::) ??? ::)

When I do go back and get that purple one I have the other half of that old motor cycle tube still. I'm gonna 5050 the brim with it and then do painted lighter parts around the entire brim. Maybe I'll do two so I can alternate so they live longer

I feel the same. I let my hair grow to like mid back length during lockdown and couldn't skate unless I had a hat or beanie on. Once I got a haircut and ditched the headwear everything was so much easier

Anything similar to this moisture-wicking north face hat I picked up a couple black Fridays ago. Not too flashy, moisture wicking, washable and not too heavy when wett, cant stand how heavy regular hats get when full of sweat.
