Really dislike when filmers bob up and down to emphasize the skaters movements.

Sick part tho.

Didn’t O’Neil nollie back heel that? Still beastly.

lots of really nice looking backside flip tricks

i could do without ever seeing another trick done on that san diego red/pink curved ledge though

Saw Wallenberg in the thumbnail, and then halfway through realised he’s the dude who nollie bs flipped the fake Wiltshire 15 in that SLS contest. Was not disappointed. Can’t imagine which is harder that or a fakie flip. The whole rollin setup is crazy too, so little time to prepare yourself

I enjoy Real’s use of songs that sound like they’re from early 2000’s issues of Logic VM lately

said, "wow," out loud several times while watching. kid is on another level. crazy that he went from mega ramp air baby to full on progressive street skater. I guess that's what happens when Dylan Haeb is part of your crew. the crook pop out on that black marble ledge to bank stood out. what a sick spot.

one of the best additions to REAL in a very long time.

Music was not my flavor and at a certain point when someone is just throwing out banger after banger spot after gnarly spot I sorta tune out, especially if the song is bad. Maybe it’s because I can’t relate, when I was younger I’d watch videos for hours and dream of being able to skate like that one day. Now I just enjoy seeing creative spots & tasteful tricks, doesn’t even have to be anything extremely difficult. The ender did wake me up though, that shit was elite.

Kid's super talented and there was a lot crazy stuffy in there, especially towards the end, but I personally would have cut like a minute of footage from that part. A lot of clips that weren't on par with the rest, especially near the beginning

Agree with this.

Joseph Campos Hockey part can be in the same vein of this single banger after banger but for me the repeat value of that watch is way more compared to this part especially because of the music

god damn that was insane. the level of skating drowned out the boringness of that edit thankfully. I really wish Real had an art direction or anything that their videos can portray.

Krooked has the art
Anti Hero has the grimy hell ride camp thing
Real has nothing other than the best skateboarders

Also what the hell was that spot at 4:19. Easily the sickest house spot I've seen in years.

Modern day Real and those two tracks….  such an L compared to SkateMafia. I’ve actually rewatched SM videos multiple times before. Can’t say that about anything Real’s put out since Roll Forever.

Social climbin for more pairs of Moutain Dew dunks to sell later and going pro to pay rent easier is understandable though. Right?

ughhhhhh i don't like being negative, though i just gotta vent about the music. it was so incredibly distracting (i honestly don't understand how anyone can enjoy those kinds of vocals) that i zoned out. to my ears it feel to be musically at odds with what sounds pleasant to me. this shit is too white for me.

okay, gonna watch again muted with some better music playing. i really wanna like this part based on what i've seen on him before.

It was difficult for me to enjoy this part when so many tricks were ruined by shitty filming.

If I'm watching a clip and thinking about the filmer then they did a bad job.  Unless it's Chris Gregson.

Don’t pay nocomly180 any attention. Despite his username, the dude is an old head type with very archaic standards of skating. You’ll find him hating on anything “trendy” at any possible opportunity.

Heard. I’m from the late 90’s/early 2k era as well but it’s wild to me that people just stay locked into a time period and expect everyone that comes after them to do the same.

I watched on mute like I watch almost every video unless it's from a specific filmer that I know picks good music.

All I saw was some of the craziest skating. Hopefully someone does a better job filming and editing him to satisfy those of you who weren't content with this AM intro part.

I was bummed to see him missing from sk8mafia until I found out he jumped ship to REAL. He's definitely got the skills to pay the bills.

Blake Norris with a higher skill level but even less character. Somehow these pint size meta boys just don't do it for me. There were accents of greatness like that suski and the sw bs flip but they were marred by the boring trendy front noseslide flipout and bs overcrooks crap and if that wasn't enough the absolutely horrendous music and editing delivered the death blow. That being said it's wild to me how people on here seem to agree that he is the sidekick in the combo with Jaeb. This kid is way more gnarly and exciting to watch with a first part that puts an entire am-squad to shame while Jaeb has yet to deliver. Doesn't it seem way more likely that Toby might jump the entire queue on REAL to turn Pro while Jaeb is about to be overtaken by Mota and Kyonosuke?

He still has two first names and Toby is a pretty fucking weak name.

And regarding the cool guy checklist, how does one even "pinch" a frontside noseslide?

The song wasn't that offensive even though I wasn't really feeling it but this kid rides away from every trick with his mouth agape like "wow I just did that?!"

I don't know what to think anymore. Part of me is probably just being a crusty contrarian cunt but 6 minutes was too long and nothing really stood out that much in this era where everyone is obscenely good.

Unrelated but, how long has that kinked rail been at Wallenberg, and has anyone grinded it?

Crazy skating, but the part was a little long (didn’t need the guest clips), the filming wasn’t great, and the scraping-the-barrel Emo soundtrack was extremely uninspired and didn’t fit the skating.

The Emo trend needs to die already; once it’s been in a Real edit, you know Emo has been done to death.

I’m gonna go with Crail’s worse. There’s a better package deal at Deluxe, the money might not be the best but at least it exists, everyone says Theibaud is the nicest, and they never seem to let anyone go. If you just want some kind of career, it seems to be there. Crail’s video output has improved in recent years, I do appreciate that. A bit more pep in their step.

I haven't been excited about Real edits as of late, but this one took me by surprise. Toby fuckin rips. Never heard of him until this part came out, but a 6 min welcome part with a NBD nollie trick down wallenberg is pretty nuts

Video parts these days are getting harder and harder to watch, and age has nothing to do with it.

That’s fucking wild. Tanner is one of the most interesting guys to come up in the last few years. Wonder what happened there?

Really the only thing I have to add about this Toby part after my second watch is I was kind of distracted by how fucking big this kids wheels looked. I’ll definitely watch this part several more times but damn those wheels.

Real recently cut some riders including Gavin Bottger and Tanner I presume. Maybe they're trying to go in a new direction or something

Now I gotta know what happened for Tanner Van Vark to be cut from vans and real. Dude has a super interesting back of tricks and that “T.V.V.” part was insane.
