I'm not talking draft pick style of best all time ollie team. I was thinking which team at some point had the best assembled team of olliers at one time? My friend posted the Steve Bailey thrasher cover and it got me thinking.
At one point Consolidated had 1010, Alan Peterson, Steve Bailey, and Karma Tcsoef, or however you spell his last name. That's a pretty heavy crew of solid, albeit transition ollies.
Are there any other teams that had a lineup of ollie pops that would stack up? Like Element had some all timers with Reese, Barley, Westgate but not all at the same time.
What yall got?
-
Huf
-
OG Stereo team.
-
Huf
Huf the skater, or Huf the brand? Real has had some solid ollie masters over the years.
-
Unfortunately Powell…..
Alan Gelfand: invented Ollie
Rodney: Street Ollie
Two Ollie champs in Danny Wainwright….and Aldrin Garcia….
-
Toy would include the butcher, Jamie, and the east coast powerhouse

This is going draft style. I'm looking for all on the same team at the same time.
-
Kenny Hughes, Donny Barley, Reese Forbes - Element
-

Solid street choice. Were Maldonado, and Diego on Toy at the same time? I feel like Maldonado was on Bootleg when Diego got on Toy.
-
Kenny Hughes, Donny Barley, Reese Forbes - Element
I feel like I should kook myself for missing Kenny Hughes.

You’re right. Diego was on during the early 00s rebuild after the bam, Kerry, Mike exodus
-
Kenny Hughes, Donny Barley, Reese Forbes - Element
jeremy wray too
-
Anti-Hero has Julien, Grant, Pfanner, and I’m sure some others.
Also circling back to Element since they had Jeremy Wray during his water tower era.

Real because they had Hufnagel.
That’s about all you need, but it didn’t stop there.
Also any team Reese has ever touched.
Fuck that, ANY TEAM Donger has ever been on.
This is a fun discuss, but I find myself fixating on personal faves: pretty sure we’re about 5 to 10 posts from this thread devolving into a generalized list of people’s favorite skaters.

Kenny Reed had a mean jumper

This line up is pretty convincing & if we’re going all time, Levi Brown and Westgate are worth mentioning and I have a soft spot for Brent Atchley.
Natas, Jeremy Wray, Donny Barley, Reese Forbes, Tim O’Connor, & Kenny Hughes though…
that sounds unbeatable.
-
Real:
Huf, Quim, Matt Field, and Drake Jones
Pit Crew:
Jake Rupp, Sean Mullendore, Zach Lyons, and Bobby Worrest
-
Fuck that, ANY TEAM Donger has ever been on.
This is the answer
-
Life? Donger on that?
I was gonna say Santa Monica Airlines…Natas and Sheffey….Julien?
-
Vert:
Vov and Wilkins, love those high, slow turning floating ollies. Must feel so good.
-
Element legacy roster has Westgate, Barley, and Atchley too
Can we get some ollie clips in here!? ;D
-
Wray Bros both had snap, both had sick covers with an Ollie.
-
Not completely confirmed, but I think every single rider on Baker can ollie.
-
Unfortunately Powell…..
Alan Gelfand: invented Ollie
Rodney: Street Ollie

hahha damn funny enough this is 100% true

This is it, I reckon.
I wanted to say Color/Prime BITD
Wray, Markovich, Gayle, Maxwell… All hucking.

Early era of Fucking Awesome. Dill, Tyshawn, Dylan, even though Nak hasn't done an ollie that sticks out in my memory, I'm sure he can ollie high.

Markovich and Jeremy Wray were almost on my original post, but it’s hard to remember who all was on at the same time with Element.
Edited: Also, don’t forget Jake Rupp. He was light on his feet.

I can’t believe I brain farted on Quim being on Real with Huf. Notorious pop.

First person I picture hearing "ollie" is Keith Hufnagel.
Regarding contemporary skaters, Nick Matthews "pops" into mind.

Street ollies it's gotta be late 90s/early 200s element, zoo York is a left field shout though with I believe Supa/Gangemi/Bici/Pang/Harold/Ponte all on at the same time, that's a solid crew of jumpers right there. Transition I gotta go for Antihero, Julien/Cardiel/Hewitt/Trujillo/Grant/Russo seems like an unbeatable line up of ramp flyers.
-
are we looking a guy to stop dilo trolling king of macba?
-
Its all been said, but element, zoo, real had some hitters. So many of the hippy/ganja heads floated like crazy. Maybe the old ipath/satori scene was where it was at. All i wanted to do as a kid was ollie
Kenny Reed has yet to be named
-
Here to have another vote for element at one point in time. Jake Rupp is definitely in my top 3 of all time.

Always enjoyed this Matt Field circa 00 ollie in SF
-
Honestly probably Plan B in 1992. Sheffey, McKay, Howard, Carroll, Mullen, Duffy, Matt Hensley, Sal Barbier
Or Zoo York in 98. Harold Hunter, Danny Supa, Bici, Jeff Pang, Justin Pierce, Robbie Gangemi.
Both had teams with crazy pop
-
OG Stereo team.
I like this
Og maple and sma

Gotta put Rick up there too. Probably already happened. I instantly think Kien Rick Huff Forbes Me lol Westgate Barley Ba. Fuckin Muska believe it or not.
Idk if he was showing off or what but when we split from Copley to the hospital it was the first thing that humbled me. His casual Ollie up the curb in front of the library wasn't high but he covered crazy ground with zero effort.
I was like dayem. Too bad I gotta leave in 15 minutes.
-
Been said but real for huf and quim
we all wish we could ollie like quim
-
Matt Hensley. Allen. Cards. Kop.
Mike V Ed Lee. Way. There was this tall kid from Boston who could Ollie higher than me. He was tall tho.

iPath with Kenny Reed, Jake Rupp, Tim O'Connor, Quim, Jack Sabback, Tony Cox, and Matt Field. Maybe not the highest ollies, but definately very stylish. They also had Fred Gall. Jaws counts I guess.

steve claar. grant. alex olson. julien. levi brown. i know nobody wants to hear this but, fowler & jason jesse both have beautiful ones as well.

Paulo Diaz

My initial thought was Real around the Real to Real era. Matt Field, HUF, Busenitz and Gonz, but people have got my answer beaten end to end in the thread al ready.

Levi Brown was so underrated. I remember seeing his footy in the Elementality vol 1 am section back in the day. Dude’s trick bag was unique for sure. Huge pop
-
OG Stereo team.
Yep. A Visual Sound is a cornucopia of beautifully executed simple tricks, especially in the context of 1994. Just imagine if it included OG team rider Paulo Diaz.

Thanks for posting this. I no longer have stacks of mags to jog my memory.
Fun fact: After Matt Hensley won the high ollie contest at NSA street contest in Honolulu, I lucked into running seeing him and shaking his hand and congratulating him right after. Thank you for accepting my outstretched hand Mr. Hensley even though I had spiked up gel hair and looked like Filipino/Asian gang member more than a fellow skater at the time.
-
Also switch disco? Maybe switch heels FS body. Remember that?
I have nothing but love and respect for the Cardona's. Rip young Mike. God speed to Quim Two of my early kinda skate heros maaaaan.

Might as well just say OG Adidas. Jah has a beautiful Ollie but like I said his friend who name escapes me had THE OLLIE in Boston. Paulo "nollie" need I say more. Quim and Mike. There's one more...
Remember the commerical? My little brother was so stoked on it because he thinks he was the first person to lift that block and throw bricks under it with Ian?
I was in jail at the time so I wasn't going to Boston with my little brothers. Flipping dominos not bloards.
P stone had an Incredible Ollie now I think about it.
Charlie Wilkens excellent Ollie especially in transition
Dill. I think about the Dill style a lot. His tricks was mids but his style was second to only I. Lol.
