Ventures look like triangle toys r us trucks that are made cool by it's riders but to each their own.

Best part about funny looking trucks is that the only time you see them while riding, they’re general moving quickly enough as to be indistinguishable from any other trucks.
In the case of Ace, the actual turn more than makes up for any perceived physical short-comings.
I think funny looking trucks are cute & now date funny looking trucks almost exclusively.

Been riding Aces for like 15 years and they grind and turn great and actually work wonderfully for me and more than a few people that I skate with but thanks for the heads up you midget with incredibly ill fitting trousers and regrettable tattoos, duly noted.

I'm the opposite. Love how ventures look. I struggle with them though. I keep trying to skate them but always swap around to something else.

I don't really give a shit about how trucks look, however Aces always look bent to me. I have Ace AF1 55s on my current set up. Had Ventures on the one prior to that. I prefer the way the Ventures feel, but I've moved on to exclusively riding big shaped decks, and they don't make anything wider than 8.75". I might throw some 6.1s on anyway and see if I notice having that overhang.

I never ride them but still think Indy is the perfect looking truck. I ride Thunder 147,or 148 and always thought they were a little meek looking. I need to think about diferent stuff. None of it matters.

Aces look like diet Indy and I don't mean in that in a good way. Not bad, just not quite good. Awkwardly thin looking hangar.
Thunders look weird in smaller sizes, like generic Tech Deck knock offs. 149 + they actually start to look way more appealing to me.
I'm indifferent about Venture - some make them look sick tho

Performance aside low trucks just look better than standards/highs. (Personal fav looking Indy lows stage 9)

Ok about to take this too seriously, I’m sure Gil did this just to see if he could get us to post about it
I mean, talking aesthetics. I think Aces are either the best looking truck or second best. The hangar is clean and uninterrupted, and where it meets the baseplate is smooth and sleek. Almost looks like it wouldn’t be enough to support it. It’s like an abstracted Indy. They especially look cool when someone like Casper stands on top of a crook on them, when they are fully bent. Indy’s are nice and classic, but can look a bit bulky (I’m talking my personal aesthetic taste, and I’m riding Indy’s right now), Venture are “cool” but a bit much, tho paired with bigger wheels (John Clemmons does this) they look great. This is coming from someone who rode Thunders exclusively for 5 years, I now find them some of the ugliest lookout trucks, like melted and blobby.

Aces are the only good looking truck. I like the utilitarian look, the numbers engraved on the outside of the hanger, the checkers on the base plate, white bushings, no gimmicks. Their team is stacked, their ads are good. More importantly they don't squeak and turn better than any other truck.

ace classic 33s look amazing, they are the second best looking truck, after phil shao’s ventures/Lavar & pupecki’s ventures.
the af1’s are whatever.
the classic 55’s also look good.
venture hi 5.0s look totally fucked, and i gave mine away, based only on how they looked.
venture hi’s do not look nearly as good as venture lo’s.
i bought gilbert’s lo colorway, because at that time i kept it really real and only skated 5.2 lo’s, and that was all the shop had. they’ve grown on me, but if i skated around other adults i might be bummed.
5.2 regular plain lo’s look so good.
5.6 hi’s look better than 5.2 hi’s.
i could go on.
the best looking thunders are 147s, and then 149s. 148s look bad, but skate good.

Those trucks look like they belong on your friend's older brother's board who used to skate, but left his shit in the yard and the sprinklers got to it for a few days, so he decided to quit skating and focus on cars instead.

Aces dont look good with wide wheels, and actually most trucks look cooler with spitfire classics (Im talking about the round-ish shape). wide thunders look nice with full conicals tho.
