Yeah, man. Sam is a rad dude. We were briefly living in the same small town before i moved last year and the early AM sessions were nice and mellow

One of the nicest guys ever. He came here in the late 80’s sometime for a shop demo. With Dave Crabb of all people…
Anyway, they both took time to teach a bunch of us how to “nollie” tail slide.( the turn on slappy style) It was more like a skate school. I always thought that was cool. Super supportive.

Before Tommy, before Natas or Mark, this guy Sam was my 1st “street skater” hero.
Few decades later, we’re familiars & dude turns out to be as rad as you’d ever hope for your early idols to be.
I love Sam; three cheers to that guy!
