There’s a million brands out there these days, and I feel like all the owners “skated” at some point. Of course there’s brands like Baker, where reynolds is undeniably the best at his craft for decades. But there are so many brands in todays age that make me think… is it really “SKATER” owned. I was watching the new carpet video BRAT today and I noticed the owners had a few clips in it that matched up with the riders. They didn’t look all old and sloppy and in there just for fun, they can actually move and that was a breathe of fresh air to see. It got me thinking, What brands are actually skater owned and what isn’t?

So if you're the owner and not a pro anymore it's not skater owned? You skate for fun and sponsor kids, your skating not like the new generation but yeah not skater owned as you don't have a clip in X video

Yeah I feel the same skater owned doesn't really mean that the company owner has to skate at the same level as their riders

Says alot about how low rent King is that a two time SOTY owned company slips the minds of everyone that it's an actual brand.
