I agree. Outside of the legend roster, most of the team gets muddled and watered down by the sheer amount of riders. Hermann deserves better imo. Even if real doesn’t turn into his forever home, hope this gives him some clout in the industry

After toby's part earlier this year there's no way he doesnt get turned pro in 2024 too. I was surprised to see herman wasn't already pro before that last part dropped. That was some heavy shit. Congrats Herm!

^ Whatever actually happened in in Tanner's case, it adds an interesting new twist to the social convention of "going pro". Before I subconsciously assumed that "going pro" meant that afterwards you would be pro permanently, as if it changed your social status like an academic degree does. Now we have to ask every time someone goes pro: "Yes, he went pro, but is he going to be a permanent pro or a temp pro? Is she more like a one-year pro, five-year pro or ten-year pro?" Brave new world.

You might not have been around when this happened but there were a couple days where multiple threads popped up around this on here, an account claiming to be Tanner himself chimed in and then threads got deleted. Apparently the Tanner account had contacted the OPs and said some concerning things and that he wanted to be left alone. It might be better to give this a rest until hopefully at some point Tanner himself is in a place to clear it up.
