Noticed an anti hero at :35. Many clips with blanks. And it almost looks like he's skating a real a few times but the graphic is dusted.

such a good part. I think palace probably doesn't give a shit what boards he skates. He's been skating shaped polar boards for a few years now and I've noticed a lot of deluxe shaped boards as well.

Sick that Vincent's dad made the track. Heitor is almost starting to rock peak Bam outfits. Or Adam Dyet. I think this should have been cut down by about half. I say that even though he's one of my favorites.

I was pretty indifferent towards Heitor up until this part. This sealed for me tho, I’m a fan. It was the tech ledge lines and manuals that did it for me. I feel like he really showed how deep his bag of tricks is and didn’t rely heavily on go-tos or basics. Not a single ride on grind or too much safety hands fake steez. Like his skating matured. One of the best parts of the year so far I think

On rewatch it was better than I first thought, but it's dragged down by like 5 or 6 clips. Without them shit would be damn near an instant classic, the way most all his footy has been in the last 5-odd years. A touchy looking manual and a few heel touches. The lacey zip up footy day should all go in the bin. And all the guest clips didn't fit, in spite of the incredible Snape switch kicky. Shin needs to start changing it up a bit.
Heitor, Tiago, Kyle James when he wants to, Gustav, Rowan, Kader, Mike Arnold somewhat, Haltje mostly still, Tanner Burzinski increasingly, KRod for 10 seconds every two years: these guys make everyone else of the moment look boring, graceless, and/or lacking taste.

An instant classic.
Heitor is one of the style lords of modern times. Such a recognisable silhouette with loose and flowy riding.
He looks so good doing long lines at those Mediterranean coastal towns.
For the haters you wouldn’t get it why he can get away with it..

trying to feel out if he does style out more than what's natural? i never felt that way about him before he got on palace, but maybe people loved him so much he can't help but be self-aware and is leaning into it?

I haven't paid much attention to this dude for some reason but damn that part really won me over. Some great spot and trick selection in this one. Plus he skated to a Hitech song which was really cool to see. They're a super good newish group out of Detroit. Most of their music got taken off of streaming services since their old label was shitty, but you can still find their albums on youtube.

i've always been a 'Tor fan, but i have to agree that he toned down his "fake steez" arm stuff a lot in this part. wonder if he read the comments or if a homie told him. glad he mellowed it out tho cuz this shit was fantastic. manz just flows around doing whatever he wants making it look cool as shit. one of the swaggiest in the game right now. and pretty sure he's always skated other brands' shaped shit cuz palace doesnt make his pro models in what he rides which is dumb as shit. dude should just go to the eagle and rock that shit out. get doobie of that squad, add heitor. bang!

he had a palace ad not long ago on a shaped board and the caption said it was a prototype shape called 'the zoot zinger'. i mean obviously they could be joking, but it makes at least as much sense for them to give him a shape than to just have him advertising other people's brands the whole time...

Loved the lines, loved the fakie nose grind fakie hard, the song fit really well to the edit (Palace n adidas) must love that part. Most of all I love that he’s loose on the board, non robotic, with no fake steeze (a least next to none)

Prob must justified in person seeing the spot. Usually how it goes. However, I’ll still stand by that it’s a little underwhelming. Filmer got so damn close also kinda can’t tell how big it really is.
