deluxe. i get a krooked, anti-hero, or real in that order of preference. they last me awhile, i like the shape, and find the pop to be pretty consistent. i learned backtails on that bright orange Stranger Kill-A-Mall board and like 15 boards later, here i am.

I've been riding nothing but Deluxe boards lately. They seem to keep their stiffness for the longest (I'm a big lad and I tend to mush out boards quickly). I get whatever there is in that 32 by 8.1 shape.

hey lasa, are there any other good spanish board companies out there? the only spanish brand deck i ever rode was a nomad. my brother brought it back to colombia from a shop called free(?) in barcelona. it had the face of a middle eastern man on it. its concave was fairly deep, the width was too small for my taste, but a solid board nonetheless.

i'm skating a girl deck right now but i hold any allegiances to any one company.
i rarely skate the same company deck back to back.
skating the same old shape, the same old size over and over again is boring to me.
life is about variety.

Any 7.5 (too old and small to go with the 8"+ trend, despite badgering from the youngsters) Chapman pressed UK company boards except Blueprint. I bought a team board from the The Harmony the otherday and will set it up with the cheap Blueprint wheels.

I think Alai uses Chapman pressed boards or they did when they used to be distributed in the UK, shame they aren't in the UK anymore as Carlos lived here (Northampton) and supported the scene.

Well that's good to hear if they are being distributed in the UK, I haven't seen them in any shops for a while and there is the possibility your local shop bought up a load when Nic Powley closed his distribution company, I know I did !

What shop is this ?

i bought a couple of krookeds in the past year and they all had really whack shapes. I'm not the type of person to whine about shapes or sizes; if it's wood and about 8 inches wide, I'm good, but the Krookeds I had were all really weird. One the holes were too close together (from truck to truck).

Just curious if anyone else had that experience
