-
City
-
santa cruz
-
deluxe. i get a krooked, anti-hero, or real in that order of preference. they last me awhile, i like the shape, and find the pop to be pretty consistent. i learned backtails on that bright orange Stranger Kill-A-Mall board and like 15 boards later, here i am.
-
anti hero, krooked, real, true love, heroin, landscape, and shop boards are what i ride
-
i just got an anti hero friday. before that i was riding shop boards and krookeds.
(insert flannel joke here)

I've been riding nothing but Deluxe boards lately. They seem to keep their stiffness for the longest (I'm a big lad and I tend to mush out boards quickly). I get whatever there is in that 32 by 8.1 shape.
-
girl 8.25
-
the ftc 8 inch shop board.
last two boards were the same.
and if it's up to me I'll ride this shape till I die.
such a good shape.
-
only Alai boards for the last year or so.

8.25 - 8.5 USA made is pretty much my standard. At the moment I am riding a local companies board called Merde, they are made right here in Portland Oregon.

hey lasa, are there any other good spanish board companies out there? the only spanish brand deck i ever rode was a nomad. my brother brought it back to colombia from a shop called free(?) in barcelona. it had the face of a middle eastern man on it. its concave was fairly deep, the width was too small for my taste, but a solid board nonetheless.

well Alai Jart and Nomad all make decent boards, personally i like Alai's wood and shape the most.
-
Foundation
-
there are only two brands that I have ridden for the last year.
--Bueno
--Krooked
I would ride any DLX company, but the Drehobl shape has kept me coming back to Krooked when I see that deck on the wall.
-
workshop/habitat
-
Traffic (I think AT LEAST MY last 12-20 boards)
-
Rasa Libre - Nate Jones (DLX before they switched)
Up Next:
Beer City
or Krooked
-
snapped my skate mental on flat yesterday, so im going back to dlx
-
I broke a price point Habitat doing a switch frontside bigspin on flat yesterday. Two layers were cracked though, so I don't know if that's bad or not.
Tum Yeto, DNA, DLX, and Street Corner are all just fine.
-
Stereo
DLXSF
-
feeling City, riding shop deck.
-
i'm skating a girl deck right now but i hold any allegiances to any one company.
i rarely skate the same company deck back to back.
skating the same old shape, the same old size over and over again is boring to me.
life is about variety.
-
traffics about to die, about to set up this habitat

dood what kind of board do u ride
-
currently - Real 8.8 Aces II
-
has somebody tried a Listen board?
-
I'm really embarrassed to say this but... element. and honestly it's a good deck, but I should be supporting better companies. if I have enough money the next time I go out to buy a deck I'll buy and Alien or one of the Deluxe brand decks.
-
has somebody tried a Listen board?
no, but its next on my list since brian brown went pro.
i want to pick one up to show him some love and support.
-
I'm skating blanks because they're cheap, I can almost get 3 blanks for the price of one american brand deck... if I would spend money I'd try cliché carbonply or toy machine fiberlam boards to see if they work.
-
Tum Yeto.
-
Alienworkshop Heath Kirchart
-
rocking a sub-genus board right now, it feels good and the shape feels like an old world board (when they used prime wood). definitely down to support this company
www.sub-genus.com

I've been a proud killer of professional skateboarding for about a year now.
(Blank boards)
-
Trap Skateboards (german company) http://www.trapskateboards.de/ (http://www.trapskateboards.de/)
-
crimson and city
-
cracked a Blueprint last night. set up another Blueprint this afternoon. good wood and good shapes.
-
My bowl rider and street setups are both Tue Love... if I wasn't riding them, I'd be rolling on one of our shop boards (Chapman). Anything from DLX is sick too.
-
Anti-Hero
-
(http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c77/killbot369/IMG_0925.jpg)
but the only reason im riding the creature is cause its a hand me down, i don't know much about them from a business standpoint, but still a team with navs, alex horn, stu graham, and sam hitz is worth sorta giving my money to, the shape is kinda wierd but im also getting used to those 149s...
-
I have rode a True Love for the last couple boards.
Right now i'm on a Heroin... which I believe is the same thing.

hmm i guess. they are about £10 cheaper than american decks in my area. also the cliche v-ply deck i had was one of the best decks ever!
-
depends on what the shop's got size-wise, but generally I go for a traffic, a dlx, a habitat/workshop, listen from there it's generally whatever is the widest and made in america
-
Landscape, Krooked, Anti Hero. Always in an 8.
Right now I'm rocking a sweet free Tum-Yeto... thanks SWEETS... but I have to admit I gave it a black spray job and re-stickering. The Heavy Metal was too Heavy!
-
Any 7.5 (too old and small to go with the 8"+ trend, despite badgering from the youngsters) Chapman pressed UK company boards except Blueprint. I bought a team board from the The Harmony the otherday and will set it up with the cheap Blueprint wheels.
I think Alai uses Chapman pressed boards or they did when they used to be distributed in the UK, shame they aren't in the UK anymore as Carlos lived here (Northampton) and supported the scene.

Well that's good to hear if they are being distributed in the UK, I haven't seen them in any shops for a while and there is the possibility your local shop bought up a load when Nic Powley closed his distribution company, I know I did !
What shop is this ?

God i a going to get kooked
flip

i bought a couple of krookeds in the past year and they all had really whack shapes. I'm not the type of person to whine about shapes or sizes; if it's wood and about 8 inches wide, I'm good, but the Krookeds I had were all really weird. One the holes were too close together (from truck to truck).
Just curious if anyone else had that experience

crimson, zoo yorks, krookeds

toy machine 8.25 .. the best.
