Title: Rick Blackhart....the guy that invented Indi Trucks

Hey kids,

On some other worthless other bulletin boards, I post some of my art. I have my own label so gives me the opportunity to put my own art up on my own wood. Anyhow I did a portrait from scratch using some elements from the original logo for Dr. Rick Blackhart, the guy that skated for Santa Cruz back in the late 70's that invented Independent trucks.

My source material was a few tiny web photos of the Doc, and this interview where he talks about creating the first Indi truck.

Blackhart was the man. Dude would send stuff to your friends if you asked him to. Way cool dude and was actually there for me when I needed a helping hand.
