Just noticed these on Active. thought they were pretty tight. Glad jerry stuck wit the vulc mid top. personally, im diggin the black ones.

so the herman 2's are basically a vulcanized-looking cupsole? i really wanted the 'nonslip desert grip' to be some high-tech, improved vulcanized formula shoes but i guess i was wrong.

I actually thought that they were half cabs at first. But where the hell do you get them for cheap? I've never seen them for less than $55.00

I haven't paid more than $30 for a pair of shoes in probably 4 years. So $45 is pushing it and $55 is just outta the question.

I haven't paid more than $30 for a pair of shoes in probably 4 years. So $45 is pushing it and $55 is just outta the question.

I used to be like that too for years. I skated whatever I could get cheap or for free. But nowadays just I get exactly what I want. I'll be glad to pay the extra 20€ to wear what I'm psyched on.

That said, I'm gonna grab a pair of these or the Hermans as soon as they're available.

As much as I want a pair of half cabs, I'm not sure they'd offer the heel protection I need, and I'd hate to hafta buy shoe goo after 10 kickflips.

just another version of the half-cab, like this one.

i dig the Carroll/Cab, pretty close to perfection in a shoe. if you dig the vulcanized stuff.
