is scared famous the one with beefbud? thats the only album i actually own by him, and i seriously fucking hate it. maybe i have no artistic side or some shit, whatever. i liked the songs from naughty and that id like this and did not. i will send it through the mail to whoever wants it, to usa only. im sick of people coming over and seeing it and saying "o u like ariel pink? did u know blah blah blah records in his home armpit noises?" and its a continuing curse on my household. so please someone take this off my hands. preferrably a pal so they can gnar me. thx

i can say ive liked what ive heard from worn copy; ill probably just find some torrents or somethign and check it. but scared famous is like half of sonic youth's goo album. just a bunch of fuckin noise. i dont have some creative side and get this shit; i just wanna hear music and it's no more complicated than that.
id rather listen to bad brains or fugazi, but thats always been more of what my tastes have leaned towards. i dont get how people can skate and listen to shit like ariel pink, at least what i purchased.

That's my favorite Ariel Pink record. I definitely prefer his poppier stuff to the more ambient stuff.

That's how I first heard it. I love the song haunted graffiti. Sadly I have yet to meet anyone else in real life who likes them.

John Maus is alright but personally I find the cheesiness of the synth noises he uses to be too much by themselves. "rights for gays" is an entertaining song however.
