Wtf is wrong with this dude?! Idk what's his angle with this garbage but for reals he seems like he's having a bipolar episode.

Remember when Kanyes rapped with his jaw wired shut? This was the very first time I heard him and I thought it was ridiculous.

Maybe it's one of those italian christian robe things. I forget the name.
That wouldn't explain his swastika shirt though.

"done lost" lol

“Oh the misery, Everybody wants to be my enemy….”
Kanye has always sucked.

Agree that smell of rotting food in people’s teeth is one of the worst, but he would probably have full on the most primo implants available…to replace them would be just like changing out your old stanky hardware.

Cool but what are we standing for? Cause from my point of view it just looks like he’s stealing from everywhere in history and claiming to be a genius. When really he’s just some nerd stuck in a macho ass culture that won’t let anyone be themselves. So he invents this out of a bunch of ugly edgy garbage. It’s mids. It’s basically Bobby digital mixed with Marilyn Manson out even Carmen from South Park

Blah blah noise dude. I don’t even gotta flex. He’s gotta resort to basing on himself on YouTube. I win already.

fuck that guy

So let me get this straight. His logic is: my breath stinks so I need klansmen attire to cover my stinky mouth.
Yea never mind guys this checks out. Definitely not crazy.

It’s super fresh to dick ride celebrities. Nevermind him promoting nazi merch. Kanye has been wack for a long time. He peaked ripping off j dillas production style. Dude is corny as fuck.

the dude hasnt put out a good album since like 2007. he has to resort to "shocking" things like nazi and kkk shit to stay talked about. if thats dope to you... then i got the perfect skater for you who was irrelevant for a very long time till he started sporting nazi shit on the weekends!
-
this!
His music I can't fault...as a person I agree he's always been shit... there has been conversation that the whole Katrina "george bush doesn't care about black people" script was just a means for attention...he never cared about the victims either.
-
He been lost his mind, but he has to up the ante every time. It’s a shame because his music WAS good enough that he didn’t need to do all this to stay relevant. He’s becoming less relevant musically because he’s frying his brain with nitrous and off his meds.
He’s my favorite artist of all time but I haven’t listened to anything he’s put out since Donda because I can’t continue to support such a fukin moron.
-
Probably "Fade" back in 2016 was the last song I heard and enjoyed from him.
-
this!
He hasn’t always sucked as an artist, the first three albums are undeniable imo. But those albums are all fuelled by the same massive inferiority complex - yeah dude we get it, dropping out of college was really a cool move (not something you feel upset or ashamed about at all). Sadly, after adding fame and a Kardashian or two into the mix that complex took over.
-
You gotta hand it to him, he always out does himself.

All this. I've listened to Bully just because, and I have to sadly admit it is a good album. He went beyond the limits too many times to support him anymore. His father was a black panther, and his mother was head of the department of English at the Chicago State University, and I feel sad for them when I see the swastikas, the KKK dress and all those crazy ramblings. I know he has deep mental issues but people should stop giving him attention and a plateform to speak out loud.
-
His last good rant was the "How Sway?". Everything has been mid since.

It’s very hard for modern hip hopers to impress me. Everyone else is just copying each other’s ideas hoping Kanye is gay and unhappy. It’s just the way it is
Anyone who says differently doesn’t have eyes and ears
Yep Kanye wishes he could be as free and awesome as Tyler but he’s trapt

lol, yea you can tell that was when he was over his love for backpack hip hop. I love it when Sway told him he wasn't the one to turn up on

Kayne was at one point as free and awesome as tyler. I sort of don't like Tylers new stuff either...the odd future stuff was lighting in a bottle dope. Earl the sweatshirt IMO was probably the best MC to come out that group and his new album with alchemist is pretty good
Im old but I like some of these new kid producer/ rappers. Duke Deuce is from the south but has that early Dr Dre vibe but for new kids

I feel both their best works are outside hip hop. I think I relate to Tyler more because he speaks some of the language I grew up in
But hip-hop as a whole, I feel like it’s frozen in the mainstream. And both these people are too old to be groundbreaking in street culture

i wonder if kanye could figure out how to resize an image to use as a signature on slap without it taking up the whole page.

I know but the goober is like that orange turd, always throwing a fit and whining no one gives a shit about him because of whatever contrived reasons. Keep Hocking your garbage somewhere else, anyone who's got a garbage personality should do us all a favor maybe not exist anymore.
Let's put it this way before he lost his marbles he could have had anything and probably could still, from his Nazi rhetoric or klan garbage to some dumbass would say oh he's trolling or whatever lame excuse to say he's an artist. Frankly this kook can go fuck himself back to whatever hole he's came out of. I wouldn't give a shit no thoughts about it.

Not sure if you're aware but that's been one of Kendrick Lamar's main points over the past year. It seems to be the chief reason he went after Drake so hard.

lol don't get me started on Drake, I knew some musicians ~2008/9 and back then the word about Drake was he had ghost writers. Could never get myself to listen to anything he made up to this day, had a girlfriend who liked his shit and i couldn't stand his music (she loved Odd Future tho). When his first beef with meek mill popped off I was shocked at how many people didn't know he doesn't write his own music. The same commercial audience that let kayne run allowed Drake to fly

Why do people who are so loved desire to be hated?

Why do people who are so loved desire to be hated?
I guess you're someone like Kanye who has a huge circle of dickriders who probably don't offer much in the way of genuine, earnest interaction, then maybe the hate he receives is perceived by him as more authentic than who he's surrounded by
Disclaimer: no defense of Kanye, I am one of his haters, but to be fair, it must be a lonely life being rich and famous and it looks to have completely consumed him

I think part of his fame is part of the reason why Kanye’s mom got the plastic surgery that ended up killing her …she said she would go to these events and all of the older women had work done and she felt she needed to do the same if she was running around with ye…it was in that genius doc. I also hate how he acts out but feel really bad about the circumstances around his moms death, it was really because of his fame and greed
-

It's the human condition man. We always want we don't / can't have, and sometimes this means we destroy everything to get it. Like that bit in The Simpsons where Maggie has a ball.
BTW Kanye used to be cool, but what. the. fuck. His music has done a complete 180 and is beyond ass now. Y'know he uses an AI version of his voice in a lot of tracks? He recorded some of 'Ye' on his iPhone, self admittedly. From 'five beats a day for three summers' to AI trash. Money printing right wing bullshit again. We should've seen the writing on the wall when he started wearing a MAGA hat. I knew he was just using it, like you guys say, but it really does show a lack of integrity which he used to possess.
I could talk about this for hours but I'll stop there haha.

Do we care if he recorded on his iPhone?
I know people were weirdly upset when Madlib said he programmed Bandana on an iPad but I never understood why.

Honestly, it's not as much of a biting indictment as the AI shit, but I think it's indicative of a change of character. Kanye used to be the kind of guy to fall asleep at the studio, but somewhere along the way he stopped caring, and it really, really shows.
Bandana is one of my favourite albums, but I've gotta say Freddie carries some of those stock beats. 'Situations' from that album I think really exemplifies this point. That beat is straight ass but Gibbs totally kills it.

hip hop purists can be as bad as core skateboarders...I went to an event in SF and Madlib was headlining as a DJ, people hated it and boo'd him...

AI doesnt surprise me given his Warhol approach to producing anyway. I read a story, not sure how true it is, around the time of MBDTF/WTT era when he was recording out in Hawaii that the pizza guy came through with a delivery and while he was there, Kanye was asking him for feedback/input on whatever track they were working on. Not sure how true it is but if you look at the liner notes for his tracks from this time there are 10+ people on a given track.
Bandana was good but Piñata is my absolute favorite album of the last 10 years. I dont think Madlib has any bad beats but I do think he ruins tracks when he puts long ass skits/samples at the beginning/end of a track. Gibbs flow on Situations makes that song what it is youre right
