First off, his wrist wraps are on wrong. More peculiarly: He's using bronzer while injecting melanotan II, a peptide for making skin pigment body more receptive to the sun when tanning. This is typically consumed by individuals prepping for a body building show. However, just looking at his picture, he's about 20-25% body fat which would need to be trimmed to a single digit in order to compete at the local level. His genetics are pretty poor, his delts aren't capped, and you can see very little vascularity even when he's tourniquetting his elbows like that. 100% poser. Textbook Florida Representative.

This was right around the time things were heating up with the George Floyd protests. Biebel was recording some naked/confused/homeless Black man wandering the streets at night when there was a family with young kids nearby. He recorded some muscle bound dude beating him half to death while Biebel was cheering on with laughing emojis. It was brutal, the homeless guy was emaciated and had fencing arm after the first hit then the guy hit him several more times as he was unconscious on the ground.
Biebel swears up-and-down he didn't know the guy who did it, but it seemed highly suspect. DLX dropped him the next day. It took Girl a bit to doctor up an apology for him which Biebel posted to his stories briefly and shortly after he posted something like fuck all you haters. That was pretty much the end of his career in 2020.

Man I am glad my factory settings came with some empathy, as someone who has been around the homeless population since I was 14, I’ve seen some fucked up crazy shit, but as I’ve told the two sisters I helped raised, and my 14 year old son, these are people that don’t have the same opportunities and chances you’ve been given, they are still people, just lost the way a bit and are struggling, sadly most people don’t have the support system you have been given turn to substance abuse and addiction, what’s really fucking sad is that we don’t have places for these people to go get help, one of the richest nations in the world and we have homeless people walking around, so rather than get all macho and try to puff up your chest to some strangers on the internet, go spend a day volunteering at a shelter, be a positive change rather than showing your kids you can beat up a crackhead, you fucking losers

one of my uncles acted and thought like this when my cousins were little kids. he basically has no relationship with either of his kids now that they’ve grown up. that type of negativity is super toxic. so many other tools in life to manage difficult situations.

Maybe, it isn't an either or question here. Maybe there were lots of responses that could have worked, but continuing to beat a man who is unconscious and then celebrating it is the problem. Maybe it is because its not about protection of anyone but doing harm to this guy and celebrating the harm.
Ideal situation: cop+social worker get this dude some pants, of the street, and get him some help cause life is obviously not going smoothly. Also, check-in on bystanders and see if they're ok.
Not ideal but acceptable: Yell at dude at tell him to fuck off. Force him to put on some pants. I'm sure there are lots of other imperfect solutions that would count as acceptable.
Not acceptable: Punching unconscious dude and/or cheering it on. We cannot pretend those extra punches were about "protection." Also, pretending this shit is normal is also not the right choice either. This dude's adventure needed to come to an end.
This isn't an either or or being perfect or not perfect.
