Also, it's nice knowing someone has / currently is studying the mechanics of skateboarding from a serious physics and engineering angle.
I hope someone publishes an academic paper titled something like "Exact forces and vectors required to tre-flip perfectly", and says something like:
Place feet t here and here. Apply 81% more pressure on the back foot and 19% on the front. Your head must be exactly above (*coordinates*), your hips need to be rotated at 31 degrees, above (*coordinates*). Pop and scoop at a 122 degree angle on the x plane, whatever whatever angle on the z plane, etc. Here's all the calcs, followed by 100 pages of calcs.

Haven’t been kicked out by one, but I’m pretty sure one of those robot food delivery trashcan looking robots alerted authorities that we were skating once at a spot in a college town in Northeast Ohio. I knew a guy who worked for the company that operated them. They’re mostly on auto pilot but the operators can override that and move them on their own (in case they get stuck somewhere stupid).

It’s not mandatory but I think robot production is probably bad for the environment. When they hit the market it’s just gonna be like your iPhone or computer. More disposable bs that’s not intended to be repaired or worked on by the general public.
Robots that protect us and save human lives would be alright. But I imagine that they will be used to protect the evil entities in this world and to further erode our democracy.
