I mean it is right now but fos seems pretty smart and we saw what’s happened with welcome. Could just be one of those things where primitive just being a super established brand with good connections and heroin while being around for like20 years now has always been a pretty small brand and is having its moment . With them being good friends I could see him not wanting to get franky on and then sales go sour and he can’t afford to keep him around.
Plus he has a good arrangement now with the eggs and having a decent amount of fos graphics since he’s been pro for primitive.

I feel like he’s changed up his trick selection from his earlier parts, I’m thinking no cash value (still my favorite of his), and that dickies part with blink 182 and he’s leaning into more tech shit now. It’s fine, but it doesn’t quite hit the same as before. I liked the pole jam forward flip thing and the sw big heel was well done.

not a Primitive fan but their video program is extremely solid and productive so i'm never mad about someone i like being on the team. you know if someone's on Primitive you're gonna see their footy regularly.
i would also actually argue that the influence of skating with the Primitive team is actually a positive for Franky. he clearly has a penchant for wacky tricks and being influenced by a bunch of guys with more traditional tech trick selection is actually probably good for keeping him on the tasteful side of the line. if he was on Heroin or Welcome or whatever with no guardrails and skating with a bunch of dudes who are also doing wacky stuff, i could see him taking it too far. he's right in the sweet spot right now. love everything he does

I do like Franky on Primitive cause it just makes their team more diverse with him on it. I looked at their team page and they really just need to get rid of Robert Neal. Everyone else produces footage. And I am definitely getting an Aimu board when he turns pro.

Met Frankie at a Weekend Nachos show last year in LA, dude was sweating his ass out in the mosh pit like a real G.
I approached him when grabbing a drink and ended up chatting for a bit. He was so chill and nice to talk to. Definitely one of the nicest Pro's I've met.
I love how he has this "goofy" personality but doesn't feel like a gimmick to mask any lack of skill, dude goes big and goes as tech as anyone if not better, always creative and is a footage machine. This part is just another testament to that, he's in his own lane. Big Big fan.

If Primitive loses Alan Hannon and Eric Iwakura they would be barbequed. their videos would be crap without those 2. they are some of the most professional in the business imo. The team of primitive is actually really awesome, the graphics and owners just suck. the boards are really good. from time to time they hit with a tasteful cut + sew shirt or sport jacket, but 95% of their clothing is a miss for actual skateboarders seemingly. More in line with like zoomiez weed socks virginity rocks type shit.
