its been pissing me off for a while. ive stated before that ive been skating alot of campus and gazelles for the past few years but i have to buy them at shitholes like footlocker and other mall stores. i would take a life for the majority of the adidas shoes ive seen posted on here. i just hope adidas gets excited and sends me some slap pal boots.

im beginning to think that they do limited runs only to make them look "cool", when in reality they just don't want to make too many and then have them not sell. i donno, it just seems dumb to me. people want to buy shoes, make more of them.

Bad marketing team. If some Adidas rep would just lurk the slap boards and see how much people like their shoes maybe they'd step up this whole skateboarding thing a little, but right now they seem really uneasy to invest much money/time/effort into it.

it ain't cause adidas doesn't want to sell more shoes, trust me.
tell your shop to order more shoes! that's how it works. shops book however many shoes they think they can sell.
then the shoe company tells the factory to make roughly that many shoes. If your shop only ordered 10 pairs of black/white Busenitz's that's their own damn fault.

I spoke to the Adidas rep here in San Francisco and I told him that Slap Pal would like Adidas to put on Pete Eldridge as pro. I don't think he went for it but we'll see.......

they are definitely easier to find in the US for sure, but the sales manager is a fuckin idiot. a friend of mine works there, and told me the dude sucks. i've had MANY shops here in the US ask me how they can get an adidas account and they call and NO ONE ever calls back. people want your shoes and you dont call back??? ridiculous...

Why do you hate converse so much? I've never seen you go out of your way to hate on nike or adidas yet you're saddened by CONS existence? Maybe one has a more "legit" team than the other but it's still the same shit.

Yeah I think shops just need to step it up a bit too as well as Adidas with supply.. here in Australia there is no stock whatsoever in warehouses besides maybe a size run here and there of superstar skates, but no gazelles or especially campus vulcs and you can forget about clothing. and most shops are saying they sold out but can't order any more in, but they only ordered in 10 pairs of a style. I'm going the other route as I know the stuff will sell and trying to order in say 70 pairs (between 2 shops) of each style that I want so that people will know where to get the shoes and also the more I sell the more stuff the team in Australia will get towards tours, etc etc. It is frustrating when I am constantly getting phone calls from other shops, customers, and team riders asking for the shoes and theres absolutely nothing I can do for now... Luckily the newest Aussie rider is on direct from Germany so he's sorted with proddy but the Aussie flow guys aren't gonna have much product for a little whiles (but lucky they're also sample size so theres a quick fix...)

see that's totally blowing it! Whats the point of making shoes if you're not going to hook places up with the right amount of shoes, I love Adidas but this inability to get there product is going to fuck them over, whats the point of being hyped on a company wen the only people who can really get their shoes are the riders.

I don't think i am going to buy adidas in skateshops until the slap shoe. The only place that sells them around here is pretty gay and footlocker has campus st's for cheap and i think skate better than most of the other adidas

The southeast sales rep is just a normal adidas rep that they gave the skate line to. So he has no idea how to grow the line. I talked to the TM about getting a job as the southeast rep, but right now they aren't hiring and putting a lot more money into it b/c of the economy. They also need to cut back with the superstar's and other shoes that are just ok for skating.

I've never skated them, I would be willing to try though. My homie chris skates them alot but if they're as exclusive as you say them I dont see how he think he'll get flowed by adidas when he was already on nike.
