Title: Prague spots
Post by: warhead on July 17, 2006, 02:16:43 PM
I'm leaving for Prague, Czech Republic next week and try to get some skating down there (even though the weather reports point towards freaking hot). Anyway, besides Letna and the Mystic park I don't know any good spots in Prague, so I was kind of hoping the good people at these board could point me towards some nice spots in this city. Thanks in advance.

The only spot I can remember the name of is the National Theatre. There are granite ledges and stairs there....

hotel intercontinental has plenty of ledges etc. to skate. there's also a nice concrete park, but i cant remember the exact location. near some metro stop (it may or may not be called museum) there's this really fun bank place with an angry turkis security guard.the spot is worth it, though.

get on the cablecar and go one station to some place with a busstation and some markets, there is a quarterpipe thing there thats pretty cool.

Then I suggest that u take the subway to "Vhysérad" (or something like that). A perfect stair spot, that Eero Antilla does his first line on in Alis - Who Cares and end his part with a half cab kickflip. Its a really good spot.

BY THE WAY!! Heard that this is the last summer for stalin plaza...sucks so bad, best spot in the world
