I've got a lab/chow mix. She's getting old though, she must be 12 or 13 now. She's pretty healthy for her age, but she is moving slower and we just found out she has catarax

you gotta take him out tons like during the day every couple hours and at night maybe every 4 hours.  After he pisses outside praise and reward him...if he gets up in the middle of the nite, take him out, bring him back in and put him right back to bed....you've got a pretty smart dog so he'll be trained fast....as he gets older he'll be able to hold it way longer... make sure you socialize your dog like crazy cause sheppards can be really protective...

also a couple years ago we saved a dog in china when i used to live in hong kong, he was 8 months old and was going to be eaten, we tamed him and shit. he was gnarly. one year later we would find out that he was actually half wolf. rad!

we had to put him down last year cause he was going crazy

Fucking weird. I interviewed Corey Duffel earlier and he was talking about how he has two German Shepards and how he was having a really hard time training one of them because he was half wolf. He's a super nice guy, it's a shame so many people vibe on him.

I've seen two german shephards go to work on a mom and son on bikes riding through the neighborhood.  They straight up ripped up their asses literally.  They're lucky the dogs listened to me to go home even though they weren't my dogs.

The real benefit from taking your dog to puppy training is the socialization.  Most of the first classes are like playtime with other puppies.  You get like 15 minutes of training, then like 15 minutes of playtime.  So they learn the pecking order / pack order, plus they teach you how to them to stop biting you with those fucking sharp puppy teeth.

what he said.

as well as that, its important to have command words for going outside and using the bathroom, once again reward him for doing good a lot when hes young, be firm with the training but also be real patient for the first few months with "accidents" in the house because puppies naturally cant control their bladder well.  just keep a good stash of carpet cleaner and stuff.

i have a jack russell terrier who is going to be 10 in a couple weeks, another great breed of dog indeed.

it also helps you and the dog if use the dog's name mainly for rewards or to get it's attention. make sure you let it know when its done a nice job. but, if it's chewing on shoes or household shit, instead of growling its name, replace it with short, sharp commands. 'no', 'hey', 'get back', 'bad'. because if you constantly shout its name, over time it'll just think of it as another saying and ignore it.

My dog's a mixed breed maltese and poodle, his name is Boss. He sleeps most of the time but sometimes he flips out and just runs circles around the kitchen table.

A boy named Sue, we think he is a Pitbull/American Bulldog mix, but recently my wife discovered a breed of dog that looks more like him, name escapes me but he may be a mix of that and Pitbull.

And I can't find a photo of my Boston by himself so here he is with Sue. His name is Rico and he is insane.

I have a chocolate lab thats around 5 now, still dumb as a pup but I love the thing. Also last night I went to a friends house who just got a boxer, around 2 months old, and it is incredible, I don't think theres anything I love more then wrestling with a little pup. It's got strips like a tiger, one of the coolest puppies I've ever wrestled.
