Didn't know people were down for Guru like this. I seen him skate once and he really didn't impress me. Maybe he was having a off day.

totally down for guru. awesome person, dig his skating. amount of video parts don't equate with if somebody deserves to be pro.

Legitimately one of the raddest people I have ever met. I was under the impression that he was going Pro in the Fall (September time frame). Either way, his skating is good, and he carries himself well. I hope people outside of Texas buy his board. His Habitat Shoe colorway looks pretty nice too.

holy shit, i have that hanging in my cube. i tried to shoot it on my phone so i could post it up but i don't think my phone has that service hooked up.

it's the kickflip at the bayou gap shot by travis howell. always loved it because it was one of the first time i saw the homies in the mags (travis and guru) and then i had heard about guru's ollie into the bayou gap long before i saw the kickflip photo. i had heard about it the first time i went there street skating and we were all just bombing the hill and didn't even think about the gap. that kickflip's not as big of a deal now that zoo york and cody mc destroyed it, but that photo is always a favorite and the angles sick like you said. had it on my office\cube walls for probably 7 years or so now and got no plans of taking it down anytime soon.

you're fucking tripping.  dude smells like anyone else, its not like he's some kind of hippy or anything, he's a shikh and not cutting his hair is part of his religion.

the guy is a cool humble kid with a good head on his shoulders, which is rarer than the dodo bird in today's skate industry but he's different so lets hate on him.

my friend used to haev dreadlocks and i tohught that was why he smelled bad but he cut them recently and he came over the other day and he actually smelled worse than before so it definitly has nothing to do with the long hair i think its just a non-bathing thing. super cool dude though but i can never tell him to his face how bad he smells i dont know why. i really should.
