whats up everybody, im livin in jersey right now and havent ben skatin lately but all ive been doin is stashing money to move somewhere in about a month, all i wanna do is skate all year everyday and i just cant decide the best city to move to
ive skated philly/nyc and all around here forever and there are some great spots but its not like it used to be
i kinda wanna stay on the east coast but florida is out of the question (long story) and theres realy nowhere warm enough to skate all year comfortably
i also lived in portland, or before which is a great city but it rains all damn winter
so i dunno im thinkin san diego? arizona? sf?
anyone got any ideas?

i also forgot to mention im mainly trying to skate good street spots with nice ledges
good schoolyards would be nice too
kalis said all there is to skate really on the west coast is schoolyards and the shit he skates is about what im lookin for

Seriously you should head to Oz as you'll get more money for your Dollars than you will in Europe
Or what about South America, i'm sure there's a bunch of sick skate spot there that you can chill at for a year and learn some Spanish while you're at it
Or maybe look at doing a language course some where, where you can skate and chill and get some cash all at the same time

hah, today I overheard this at the skatepark
kid 1: oh man, today we were driving by (local restaurant with patio seating) and tyler leans out the window and yells "cooommmppttttoooooonnnn!!!" everybody was just looking at him and laughing and shit

hahah that reminded me of something i heard at the skate shop the other day. i was setting up a deck and these 12 year old kids were talking and admidst all the banter i heard "man, mark twain is gay as hell"

"get out of the way homo"
then his friend responded:
"your a homo" and I started laughing and the kid thought I ws lughing because he fell trying to boardslide the flatbar.

Not in the Fall and Winter but it is too hot in the Summer. A friend is living here in Seattle for the Summer because it's just too hot down there.

shanghai and singapore are virtually equal skateboarding concerned.

There's lots of suburbs around greater shanghai area,
I mean all around the mainland,
even across the strait to Taipei,
but singapore is just singapore,
nothing else.

And Singapore is hot as hell in the daytime. Malaysia would be pretty sick and cheaper than Singapore, but still hot in the daytime. Also, there is monsoon season. San Diego is pretty expensive, I mean you might as well move to Hawaii, really. At least the parks are free and you don't have to wear a helmet and crap unless you skate Hickam. But, I know you want to skate ledges and street, and Hawaii sucks for that. Actually, San Diego would have you skating parks during the weekdays, then schools and other stuff on the weekend. Shanghai is pretty dope and cost of living seemed to be really cheap from my conversations with the few chinese that could speak decent english that I ran into. I'd say Canada since global warming is going to fuck up the climate of all the southern states soon enough making damn near impossible to skate in the summer months. By the way, I'm living in San Diego right now. I'm pretty sure we're paying some of the highest gas prices in the country right now.

Where's the SD spots at? Is there more shit to skate in North County (Oceanside/Vista/etc.) or in the downtown area? I wanna skate that ledge spot that drops off into the banks.
