That's so lame of Blueprint.  It's not our fault they refuse to adapt to technology and spent 5 years on a video.  Does the guy who wrote that download music?  Or does he urinate on decades of work?  Guess what buddy, not every skater who dig your shit can afford to drop 30-40 bucks on a dvd they'll watch a few times.

i don't think any of the people that can't afford it are mad...  just not as fortunate to be trust fund babies who have tons of disposable cash that they didn't have to do shit for.  money doesn't come easy when you have to actually do real work for it.  the main reason i quit doing drugs...  was tired of giving people easy money that they were making from ruining people's lives.  if all the people who got money handed to them had to do real honest work for it they would shit a brick and probably wouldn't be able to handle it.

If shit's good, it's worth paying for. But if it's pretty mediocre, it'll be on youtube sooner or later...

I dont think they intend to discriminate against poor people. Saying you're gonna rip the video right when it comes out(not that i wouldnt necessarily do it) is just rude. If you cant afford to see a movie when its at the cinema, do get pissed and accuse them of discriminating against you for being poor or do you just wait for it to come out on video or tv? They know shits gonna be on the internet eventually and they might even put it up themselves. Of course i more than appreciate the fact that i can download any video for free, but I dont understand how you can feel entitled to someone's work.

sorry for the double post, but what do you mean by adapt to technology? Im so bummed how many companies are headed in the direction of cranking out an online caliber vid more regularly(cough Zero). Id be more than happy to pay a lot of teams $30 to keep making features instead of letting me watch some extremely temporary clip on the web for no cost

I guess Youtube isn't that different from when we were younger and we'd connect up two VCR's and copy each other's videos. We were young and poor so you do what you gotta do. But I always wanted to have the real thing, you know, the video with the box in its packaging and all that. I always looked up to the older guy who had a original copy of Video Days. So when I was old enough I got a part time job so I could.

well that's my damn point moron.  i'm not a trust fund baby but since i did quit spending my money on dumb shit (drugs) i do have money to spend on the few really good videos that come out each year.  it's people that put them online as soon as they come out for tons of people to get that fuck all of that up.  i'd rather pay good money (even hard earned) for a really good video versus watching some bullshit that's almost free that doesn't even compare to shit in videos 10 years ago.

i actually said i'd buy it and would rip it if i had the computer know how...
meaning that i will be buying but won't be ripping it. So sorry Mr. Magee for pissing on 5 years of hard work, i am not wanting in anyway to take money away from a good british institution like Blueprint.

edit*

I deleted my orignal post because i knew it would be taken as 'I will be ripping it' when i meant that i would be buying it and not ripping it as i have no ways to and i'm sure many others will.

not because Dan Magee made me out to be some terrible bastard ruining the skateboard dvd industry.

Video is sick, just under an hour, everyone has full parts, tonnes of lines and harsh spots, not an ounce of filler. Really can't ask for more. Personally stoked on Chewy flying along, Brady, Colin Kennedy and Shier but everyone comes through strong, looking forward to seeing it again tomorrow at the local premiere to digest it some more.

Saw the video tonight, it's rad as fuck. My favourite parts were Mackey, Coakley, Jerome Campbell and Sylvain. Smithy is gnarly as fuck and Chewy Cannon is rad too. The whole thing is amazing though. Skated with them all day and had beers afterwards as well. They're all super cool and Sylvain, Marty, Colin and Tom Harrison were fucking ripping. Such a sick day, i'm really stoked on it.

Hello to all, please accept my apology but I have some bad news. Unfortunately due to a crazy volcano erupting in Iceland the Blueprint L.A premiere has had to be postponed till the 2nd of May. I am stuck in the U.K trying to get back to L.A but no planes are allowed to leave. I hope this does not mean some of you will miss it as we want you all there.See you on the 2nd, Thanks Paul Shier

Yeah thats my point though, I pre ordered it from focus in Glasgow thinking I would get my hands on it sooner If my wee brother posted it to me. But now its loking like I would have been just as well jumping the border down to the states or waiting for it to come out in Canada.

After watching 5/6 times i can say that it doesn't hold up start to finish like lost and found. Not that the parts aren't as good but there is no filler between parts, songs tend to drift into one another etc etc..

But the parts on their own are amazing.

Brady, chewy, smithy, jenson, jeremoe cambell and kevin coakley as stand outs.

Also paul shier has an amazing part and is genuinely quite shocking..... this was a surprise.

i don't mean skits or anything but blueprint videos have always good graphics and other 'lifestyle shots' worked into their videos that are really well done and work well (cliche also) and this video is literally part.part.part.part.credits.stop
to some people this may be good..

The videos good, it is hard to find faults..

I just watched it. I am one of the pickiest people when it comes to the skateboarding media but this video is absolutely incredible. I cannot stress enough how much this video is worth buying. The music is really good. There are no bullshit-berrics-ramp slow-mo's. It makes you want to go for a push down the street.

Sylvain. Jensesn. Chewy. Tukka. Colin. Brady. Everybody kills it.

I can't be arsed writing a full review but believe me it is worth it. One of my favourite videos in years. It's different to L&F but in a good way in the sense that it isn't trying to be a second rate version of a classic. It's new and a different spin on things but it's still got the unique British vibe to it.

This is the first skate dvd I've bought for a while, and at a tenner it's a bloody steal

Gotta support the smaller companies (although you could argue that Blueprint are now firmly out of the confernece division and sitting nicely in the championship awaiting promotion  ;)) and if they only made something a bit more suited to an old fart like myself I'd be riding their wood in a heartbeat.

All in all a top DVD, and well worth getting hold of

Incredibly good video they put aout again.
Campbell, Sylvain, Coakley, Cannon...whoa!
So many good parts and it gets better by time (saw it twice and it was a lot better the second time) 'cause it has so many good stuff in it.
But it, it's worth it.

Ah its not that great. Nothing on their previous works. Baines is rad but should of kept some stuff from that dvs part they put out not long ago. Tukka or whatever his name is, is terrible. Shitty style and tricks. Poor Marty has too share a section with him will mean no one will see his stuff as it'll be skipped every time.

This video is too fucking good. Danny Brady killed it, I thought he would have gotten ender (not taking anything away from Baines, he had a great part too). Sylvain has a cool part. I'm so stoked that Nick had a really good part, I wasn't even expecting him to have a full part. I didn't know Coakley could get so gnarly, either. Neil Smith killed it too, shit, everyone had a super good part. Only real complaint (aside from my DVD case coming fucked up) was that Marty could have had a full part if he had just saved some of his  footage from the "Make Friends With Marty" promo for the video. But anyways, the video is really good, definitely the best video to come out in 2010. Really, there's no reason to not buy this video.

I am from the U.K currently living abroad.

My solution to not being able to get this dvd right NOW, while at the same time not wanting to undercut a company that has been consistantly briliant and insparational to the U.K scene since I started skating?

Buy MFWTCB  online from Focus skateshop in Glasgow and get it posted over. If it dosnt work because of zoning ill copy it, change the region and pump it out on a rewritable disk.

Video watched, company supported, ahead of the Canadian curve.

Here's the deal. Blueprint has about 2000 copies of the DVD sitting in U.S. customs right now. They had the "DVD" logo on the cases and I guess in order to legally do that you need to pay for the license and have documentation of it all, which Blueprint did not. Quite the bummer.

Thanks, I checked that out but they want almost $11 to ship the damn thing and that's really all i need right now.  It fucking sucks not having a shop anywhere near me.

I found it at skatewarehouse for $11.99 and they have a "25% off everything in stock" code going on.

So with shipping, I got it for $14.99.  I can live with that.  Might help anyone who's like me and has no local shop.

brady, neil smith, jensen and tukka had the best parts but overall it was brilliant, no dissapointments.
mackeys bit was the best.

mackeys bit was the best.

The best part is that's how he skates every time he steps on a skateboard. He's also just the best guy ever in general.
