i am not talking huge gaps or stairs. i mean tricks used as an ender that you haven't really seen done in video parts by others afterward.
like Koston's tre flip to noseblunt or Gino's BS 360 manny at the Roslyn Banks.
any stuff like that?
-
hate to burst your bubble but after koston first did that trick in yeah right everyone started doing them.
-
lasagna
-
doesn't chris cole do tre flip nose blunts in his parts? there's one in new blood i know. how about matt bennett in suffer the joy, bs 180 to fakie 5050, trick is simple enough but on a handrail its sketchy and i've never seen another one as of yet. i'd like to see someone do it down a round rail.
-
Everything that Daewon does. No one would do that shit.
-
dennis durrant and chris cole have done 3flip noseblunts since then....but id say in Sorry Bastien nollie heel bs tails a rail in the middle of his part and to this day cant remember seeing anyone else do it on a rail

i have trouble keeping a lot of those Zero videos straight. my fault. not surprised Cole has, Durrant is a little bit of a shock.
if Koston would have made that Fakie Tre Fakie BS Lip that he was trying in the Lakai Epicly Later'd, that would have been one for sure. i hope he makes that one some day.
-
He did in on the OG mellow Berrics Rail when there were the red bricks on the wall..
I want to see it on street so bad.

stefan did one in inhabitants
speaking of stefan i've never seen anyone else roll up to a ledge frontside and pop a nollie bs180 fakie bs 5-0/switch back nosegrind
-
^^^lurker lou, rich mahogany.
-
oh and nick mclouth did a back 360 manny back 180 out. it was definitely nowhere near as sick as ginos back 3 manny, but still pretty tight.
and up until corey kennedys beware of sasquatch part, nobody had done a kickflip back nosegrind shove out mid ledge except nick mclouth. (as far as i'm aware)
-
oh and nick mclouth did a back 360 manny back 180 out. it was definitely nowhere near as sick as ginos back 3 manny, but still pretty tight.
Was it like a full 3 into a manny? or like 270, pivot to manny?

pretty much a 270. i guess one could argue that a steeper manny pad would have provided more time to finish the rotation, but whatever that didn't happen.

davis's nollie front hurricane on a handrail. not enders, but justin eldridge's nollie heel nosegrind and switch heel blunt slide on a handrail. the nollie heel nosegrind is just ridiculous, especially on a round rail of a decent size.

I think Justin Eldridge did that at that Belmont rail. or whatever that school is called. something. it was on a skateboard mag cover.
edit: it's in his especial part.

i definitely did not mean to contain this discussion to just enders. those were just the tricks i kind of figured would be the most likely to have not been reproduced.
cole's ender in ride the sky. i know daewon does them to manual, but done a big four is pretty nuts.

zack wallin does a nollie 360 heelflip down a 4 block or something in Bonus Round

i doubt we will see MJ's ender from Fully Flared much but that goes without saying.

sammy baptista fs shove nosegrind shove out!
Since it's SamBap we're talking about I'll assume it was "switch".. but Cory Kennedy did one in BOS.

Kellen James cab to back tail bigspin handrail
Eric Koston switch fs bigspin backside blunt, but most of what koston does only he can do

you apparently didn't read the message that the person you're speaking to quoted.
daewon did one on some big wooden boxes in the deca warehouse i think. quite a few years before mj did the same trick on a curb.

It was more insane when guy did it (the switch version) at the world park in like '93 and nobody else even tried anything like that for a decade.
Speaking of which, in the same part, guy does switch noseslide fakie flip back to switch on a rail.
Another one for Justin Eldridge is the switch flip front salad down the LA high rail. For as much hate as he gets, he's coming in strong in this thread.

Too boring apparently. I haven't seen many lines from him but no real reason to hate let alone dislike.

maybe in the LRG video RodrigoTX will drop MJs ender, just like he did with MJs ender from Man Down. switch hardflip to backtail anyone. actually not enough time has passed for people to possibly forget.
also for those who watched the Fully Flared extras, what was the trick MJ was trying on a handrail in a royal blue tshirt. was it a b/s flip to b/s lip? it just looked a little different than normal flip-to-grinds. i would assume whatever he was trying has been done, or has it? can i get some help?

Pretty sure it was a nollie flip back lip, and I think he tried a nollie 270 to switch front nose on that same rail

Mostly because he only seems to do single tricks, most of which are down handrails. He does some damn cool looking rail tricks though, a lot of them would be cool if he just did them on a plain old flatbar.

I remember Brian Lotti and Henry Sanchez, too. I think it'd be kinda neat to figure them all out one rainy day.

^ the dway front board to fs noseblunt, maybe?
there's a lot of flip trick + wallride variations I can think of that I haven't seen duplicates of, like Matt Millers' hardflip and big heel wallride, stefan switch heel wallride, Silas's ali-oop fs flip wallride, mccrank wallride nollie bs flip and steve olsen wallride nollie back heel, davis torgerson sw flip wallride
as for other shit, Cole did that gonz trick down a real rail, back 270 noseblunt, and cab front blunt, and I can't think of anyone that's done any of those aside from him. Adrian Mallory did sugarcaine down a real rail, and that decenzo kid's done a few switch hurricaines
-
anyone got video of Adrian's bs sugarcane? what Gonz trick are you referring too?
SBN's wallride hippie jump was pretty nuts too. don't know if it's been done again.
-
Ricky Oyola did the wallride hippy jump in 7 year glitch. Gonz trick is the frontside 180 to switch feeble, out to regular
-
you know what combo was fucking sick, aaron snyder fs tailslide to fakie manual, fakie fs flip out. that shit would be ridiculous to put all together. jake johnson sw straight on 5050 a rail too i dont think anyone else has done that.
-

and our own little Nick. did a wallride hippy jump in what I think is his shop video part. and the sugarcaine isn't backside, it's frontside

i should've known, pretty much every ledge trick imaginable was done in those days.
the bolded statement also applies to nyjah, considering i've yet to see another heelflip front feeble on a handrail or a heelflip front 5-0. and up until that one guy's part in the digital fyi video, he'd done the only front nose 270 shove on a handrail too (as far as i know). manny santiago also did the only heelflip bs feeble i've ever seen done on a handrail.

Jayme does it on a picnic table set down stairs for a guest trick in Matt Beach's 'Can't Stop' part, joey pepper did it mid-ledge, but it might've been a fakie ollie sw salad shot from a wierd angle
Also I think Ryan Aningalan's and Scott Yamamaura might've done that trick transfer-style from the wrong side of a bench, but you'd have to be a real seattle/wa video enthusiast to have seen those.

It's a fakie ollie to switch frontside salad, and its badass.
As for the fakie b/s noseblunt in the middle of a ledge, I remember in one of the later numbered 411s some dude without a board sponsor has a wheels of fortune and does one at chaffey. I forget what his name was though. Jesse something I want to say.
And Danny Gonzales and half a dozen other dudes have done the 3flip foot plant. Gonzales may have even done one switch, and he definitely did one too (ugh) tailgrab.

danny gonzalez does do one switch in the reason. he does it regular on a flat gap with a tree in it. then he turns around and does it switch.

Yeah sorry pine, but pressure flips are not inward heelflips.

Park rails don't count.
Do we have to bring back the thread about fake spots? Cuz you're saying that the latter half of Steve Berra's career doesn't count.

The trick counts, but you can't call it a real handrail.
If you can than I have done some damn good tricks down handrails that I usually would consider out of my league on one.

scott kane: Switch heel fron nose a handrail.
Danny Gonzales flip bodyvariel switch crook
David Ganozales Front board 'pretzle out'
Chris Cole fakie front blunt bigflip out in RTS
Saw someone do a flip bodyvariel switch front board in happy medium perhaps?

David Gonzales does these, so does Dan Nepscha. I'm sure others do it, too.
And if we want to bring Danny Gonzalez tricks into the mix, he's got a ton. My favorite is the switch heel fakie one foot nose manual back to regular.

I was gonna list the time but the whole part is filled with nbds, and some for good reason.

Sean Malto does a varial heel nosegrind during a line in And Now. I haven't seen one of those since

very first clip he kinda 1ups that trick, and at :56 he does the actual trick. neither of which on a handrail, though, so you may be dissatisfied.

that somewhat reminded me of Doug Brown and i am not sure how to feel about that.
-
Its in his part in that one video... I forgot what its called but Marty Murawski has a part in it and there's a combined part with Ryan Lay and Darryl Angel.
-
it was in the filmbot files. can't seem to find the part on youtube though.

I agree in the way that a lot of the maneuvers are unconventional and that I would dare not duplicate, but to me it is very enjoyable, unlike whenever I see The Doug.

Justin eldridge switch flip front 50/salad?
To be honest in the ad it said salad but in the footage seems to be a different time and looks dubious for a salad..

figgy did kickflip front smith on a handrail in stay gold. billy marks had one on a hubba in good & evil, but never seen one on a handrail before figgy.
-
Not an ender at all, but austin gillette (sp?) at maloof did a back 180 alley oop to switch 5-0, approaching the ledge backside.
-
Dave Coyne, fingerflip boardslide wilshire 10 hahahahahaha!
-
is chris cole the only person to have kickflip backside noseblunted a handrail?
-

No. Dennis Durant has done them, and I've seen some at contests but they don't count because the Gipper says so.
-
Mark suciu did one.

I'm far from the only person who thinks this. Park rails aren't handrails. Its the same way a bowl at a skatepark isn't an actual backyard pool, despite their similarities. A bunch of other people who I have seen footage posted of said the same thing in the 270 lip 270 out thread. But some fatass kid who quit a while ago and probably has never skated a rail probably knows the best.
Why exactly again? Go watch football you fucking spectator. your opinion doesn't mean shit.
-
I have no idea why you use the word "kid" or why you think I quit skating.
And if anything, you're the jock for saying tricks doesn't count when you're in the practice zone.

it was to 5050.
gonz did it on the bottom step of wallenburg in video days
-
most of, if not all of john mottas enders
-
You told me to go watch football...
Its a better sport for people who don't participate.
-
You just called skateboarding a sport; your opinion is null.
-
It wasnt really an ender but Cliff's Switch heel back smith, I have never seen anyone do that before, especially in a line.
-
You just called skateboarding a sport; your opinion is null.
As a non-skateboarder, you have no say in what skateboarder's opinion should be.
-
^^A man whose opinion doesn't count telling me that my opinion on his opinions shouldn't count.
Also, as a (substitute?) teacher, you should know how to correctly put together a sentence.
-
WOULD YOU BOTH SHUT THE FUCK UP
-
yes

Haven't subbed for several years. Once you get to the grammar nazi shit you know you don't have shit. Its a message board, not formal prose.
Also, that's a cute thing to say, but seriously- you don't skate. Sit your fatass down and don't argue with real skateboarders about what they do. I'll call it what I want. I actually do it.
-
hahahahhaha now you're telling me that I don't skate. Sorry Mr. Reagan, please don't send me to detention.
