The Facebooker has been getting blasted with Tampa Pro shit today. Does anyone care that this is taking place?
Will you watch the webcast?
Do you have any predictions for the winner? I'm going to guess it'll be someone boring, or typical. Anyone who won a Street League, whoever they were (I remember seeing results posted, but don't recall).
Also, I hate how their websites primary objective is to whore out Nikes. It's very difficult to find any content on that pos.

man i have felt the same way about that site for years. It is almost a joke. They have two of the biggest contests in skatebaording and you go to the site and the home page has absolutley no infomration on it. it literally took me 15 minutes of internet searches just to find the results for the Tampa Am last year. that fucking site sucks!
and i do want to know who wins and the final results but i doubt i will make any time out of my weekend to actually watch any of it. ACC tournament has my attention right now.

Thanks. Shane's run had some well executed tech shit in there. If that was Nyjah's last run, I'm glad he at least got 2nd. He didn't use as much of the park as Dennis, but undoubtedly had plenty of hard tricks. Difficult call.

Just watched Nyjah, and Shane's runs. Nyjah put down harder tricks for sure. But Dennis did more easier tricks, and did tricks on the quarters. So it's really tricks vs. lines. I still really wanna see what Luan, Torey, and PRod did.

couldn't agree more. those run videos that COTG put were sick. shane and Nyjah both had absurd runs, and shane's nollie flip nosegrind down the round rail was just ridiculous.
Busenitz is my favorite skater, but other people who like him are so protective of him and hyped on him in a weird way that is a bit spooky. say something bad about him and people lose their minds and get super butthurt. i am really stoked he won, that run was amazing, but after looking at the other ones i can see how it would have gone either way, dudes were killing it. so hyped for the REAL video

shane was slow and did a bunch of ollies and then came out of nowhere with a couple of tricks that defied reality.
nyjahs a REAL dick and skates slower than i remember, but phelper was mumbling his name all weekend, wierd.
dennis' run was the best thing ever to witness, but no-one who was there can deny that Zered's run in the semis was easily on par. the one where he opened with the front crook. amazing.
koston was on a mission and could've taken it if the stars were aligned correctly.
everybody on the roll-in agreed that watching KT skate was a real treat. he was killing shit. the god.

holy shit luan is like my favorite young dude right now! he's just mind boggling good and he skates faster and looser everytime i see him. he pulled a full cab flip out of his ass in practice down the 7 and the whole fucking roll-in crew were all losing their shit fully for a couple minutes. i mean, the dude is just a-fucken-mazing to watch. this was probably the most intense finals i've seen and i go every year.
steamers kickflip 50 was so fucking good! still thinking about that.
there was a rumor that plunkett was gonna skate and everyone was hyped, but i think he got hurt in practice or something. bummer.
ron allen went for the airwalk to boardslide down the 7 a few times. i think i would've shit my pants to see that. you have any idea how hard that is?
there was an 11 yr old kid in the vert am that was pulling 720's. i'm so stoked for the future of skating. sammy baptista was killing too. so many. everyone was going for it this year.

this is why Rohan will go down as one of the greats.
I was introduced to Rohan once through a mutual friend, and for the next 6 years he would always make a point to say hi and ask how i was everytime i saw him on the street. A year could go by and he would still recognize me and talk to me. In all my years in NYC not one person has been that nice, let alone a pro skater.
Saw chad fernadez at stoner once. he seemed more like an talk show host than a skater.
