Title: How often do you set up a new board?

Post by: tre killa on April 15, 2011, 08:27:51 PM: Winter ive gone for six weeks summer every thre to two weeks. But I do ussually give up on the board after a bad skate day. The other day I bought two alien workshops for 65 and two seagls for 50, probley set up new board around the two week mark.

I've had the board I'm on for two weeks, before that snapped a board in a day (first time doing that in years), before that had a board for like 2 months- those santa cruz powerplys last, but usually its about one a month.

Same here i dont like focusing my boards. I guess im lucky in a way since all my friends stop skating i got all hand me downs. Ive only bought 2 decks in my skating career. Never bought trucks wheels or bearings, i just got them all from my friends who quit. I also dont have the money to buy boards like that anyway so ive went a month or 2 without a board. I seriously had a friends (big surprise that he doesnt skate anymore) who seriously would make his mom buy a whole new setup when his old was deemed useless. Literally the old board was way skateable, yet he would make his mom spend 100+ for a new setup. Fuck that kid...
