Title: New Orleans
Post by: StabMasterArson on June 05, 2011, 07:08:03 PM
I'm going to be New Orleans from the 17th-21st of this month lurking around. I'm going down with a friend while he works, he's got a apt across from Humidity skateshop. He skates but he's injured right now. If anyone wants to link up for a session or debauchery, let me know.

I just moved down to this area last week from Joplin, Mo and I'm looking for some new skate friends. I live in Hammond pretty much so I'm like an hour away from New Orleans and Baton Rouge and I don't mind driving to either city. I'm 26 and have been skating for 13 years.

Bummer, I'm gonna be in NY the whole time you're here.  Are you staying with Philly?  i think you're gonna have fun, just beware of the heat!

I work in BR and sometimes NOLA, but I live in downtown Hammond close to the park... PM me your info, you need to meet the crew.

I live a couple hours north. I believe that spot is done for because a barge crashed into it, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

What’s good in NOLA these days? Where do skate rat types like to hang out? I’m going with family for a few days this week and I’d like to see more of the city than the usual tourist stuff

As I'm sure you know it's Mardi Gras season so there's shit happening everywhere all the time. I'll try to get a list of really cool shit going on this week from a homie who lives down there. Otherwise, these two lists have some rad places worth checking out, though they're a few years old by now:
