Not really worried about health effects. the building is blown to shit, aways a nice breeze coming through. The water seen in the video is not supposed to be there, it's from fresh huge rains, not old sewage. However, in the massive Poo bins upstairs, there are things like THIS;

Been outta town, up in the mountains in South Park, which has a little official skate park of it's own. I do need to go back to this sewage plant and take better pics of the ramps and things people have built outta the rubble. As for what the octopus looking thing is: it's actually just a bunch of burlap sandbags. I think skaters thru them in the pits to stop people from breaking them open all over the floors. The pic just looks funny because it's so dark in the pits the flash made it look like a close up of germs or something.

I'm not getting online much due to fucked up wifi and lazy apt. managers, so I am not so fast on learning much about the place, but here is some past from a news article years ago, when they found a fetus there.
"A 911 call led police to the woman, whom police have not identified. Police are investigating a number of possible scenarios, some of which could constitute a crime, Blevins said.
The fetus was discovered Sunday about 9:30 a.m.
"At this point there is no evidence of a crime," she said. The autopsy will determine what course of action detectives will take, she said.
It could be anything from abuse of a corpse or concealment of death to something much more serious if the fetus was viable, Blevins said.
Steve Frank, spokesman for Metro Wastewater Reclamation District, said the fetus was caught in a screen that normally snags cell phones, toys and other large items that wind up in toilets.
He said this was not the first time the plant has made such a discovery.

Just dredging this up again to say: I tried to go back to the SPOT, and this is what it looks like now. Sorry if it's poor form to bring this old thread up, but I like to follow the history of these old creepy buildings, and sometimes finding them in a heap is part of the process>
