Title: Does which side your dick goes determine your stance?
Post by: Fairy Boy on October 17, 2011, 09:56:28 AM
I've been pondering this one for awhile.

I dress to the left, and I skate goofy, so my dick hangs 'behind' while I go forward. Skating towards my penis feels wrong.

Then again, maybe skating towards your dick is like pointing your sword forward while you charge into battle? Maybe that's why i suck at skating, I'm not battle-ready?

isnt that how they told you how to figure it out when you first went to your local skateshop?

Do like Rodney does and let your dick sway out your fly, get rid of that stance once and for all.

I wonder what Elissa Steamer thinks about that one.

I too have often wondered what determines stance, is it genetic? Learned? Bit of both? My understanding is that scientists still don't have a complete understanding why some are left-handed and others aren't, so goofy v. regular is probably gonna be just as difficult to explain.

I've notice that people that are left handed and write with their left hand look wildly uncomfortable. Almost as if there is a ghost grappling your hand and forcefully moving it as you try to restrain. They also have shitty handwriting. Can anyone confirm this or say otherwise?

In Victorian times, goofy skaters and redheads were called 'the devils children' and punished accordingly.

Well apparently back when people were much more superstitious and overly religious, the left hand was supposed to be the hand  of Satan which was their way of explaining why left handed people were more artistic.

I doubt this would be true in modern times because the majority of people are right handed.

I don't really have a stance, I can skate comfortably both ways, and I can do more flip tricks switch I guess, but I would rather bomb a hill reg, and I write with my right.

im a lefty not that anyone cares here but the shitty hand writing has a little to do with the fact you write from left to right side on a piece of paper and for left handed people its more about not smudging what you just wrote .....
