Title: VX1000 problems

i have a VX1000 and lately its been randomly turning off for a few seconds then coming back on, and a few days ago i would be recording something and then it would stop recording. does anyone know what migt be wrong or a way to fix it?

vxs are getting older and older. it could be a variety of things. id take it in for a full checkup

Can't say what your problem is but send it to video electronics. They will give you a much better deal than the flat rate price Sony charges. Also tell them you are a broke skater and they will waive the assessment fee.

I have been using them for a long time and they remember repeat customers. Sony won't. He has fixed things for free for me more than once when I send in my camera with multiple problems.
