This is an impossible question to answer. ? So many good ones. ? This is my favorite of the montage sections. ? Those opening and closing tricks...
Time to shine Montage. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8Tc-KIimdk#)
-
Heath in Sight Unseen. Actually every part in Sight Unseen, but everybody seems to forget about Tosh and Henry Sanchez. Those parts were both fucking insane and Tosh's part was my introduction to J. Mascis, so that's super nostalgic by itself.

You better watch what you say. My friend's dad told me that there is a militant wing of Beatles fans who torture people who deny their greatness. They're more powerful than Illuminati.

Dude I really enjoy their montages too. The one where the guy grinds that s rail ...

I'd say the AWS part in Cinematographer redux is in the running. Other then that, Knights in White Satin.
-
I agree with most of the choices, but I am really surprised no one mentioned Chany Jeanguenin's part in Interface. That part really influenced my skating.

Your friends dad!?! Nuf said.
Nice to get an illuminati response. I figured ol Gipper would chime in and school me on how the Flip team was actually trained by MI6 to retaliate for the Revolutionary War and our nations refusal embrace soccer.
-
I'd say the AWS part in Cinematographer redux is in the running. Other then that, Knights in White Satin.
Haha now whenever I listen to that song I'm gonna think of knights wrapped in satin blankets . But yeah "Nights" in White Satin went perfect with Heath's part.
-
No order: Shiloh, Tosh, Cards, Leeper, Darrel, Salazar, TNT, Drehobl.
-
This is the only one that hasn't been mentioned yet that I've watched over and over.
Matt Beach (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWX0ChocBd0#ws)

i had to comeback in and profess my love for henry sanchez in sight unseen and also dill/ave in feedback.
edit: its fucking impossible to pick just one.

chris roberts a time to shine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s3cL737cvA#)

feedback - Dill and AVE
i.e - Pops
modus operandi - Carroll
Sight unseen Dollin and Heath and Cardiel

Time to shine - Chad Tim Tim
Lets do this - SMOLIK SMOLIK SMOLIK, but guzman is sick
And Now - Kenny Hoyle
Right foot forward - Bobby
Hallelujah - Bingaman
Not another - Manderson for sure, Wes's part is sick too
Cinematographer - Buesnitz and AWS
-
Fuck it, I wasn't going to post my pics cause what that earlier post said it best: It is really is impossible and almost unfair to condense most of transworlds parts to a list. But here are my five.
1.Carroll:Modus
2.Tim Tim:Time to Shine
3.Chany:Interface
4.Ave & Dill:Feedback
5.Workshop Section:The Cinematographer Project
Special Mention goes to Leeper in Subleties(jacked spelling!), and for some reason Omar's part in First Love. I Remember being stoked on how original his style on and off the board is.

top 5 would have to be
Kirchart - Sight Unseen
Evan Hernandez - In Bloom
Darrell Stanton - Free Your Mind
Stefan Janoski - Subtleties
Leo - First Love
I didn't realize how hard that list is to make til i saw this thread.
-
Mike Carroll - Modus Operandi (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMomRgeDuoY#)
By far. Really far.
simply I love this part, still awesone nowadays
-
1. david gravette
2. wes kremer/manderson
3. tom penny/reynolds- anthology
..i started skating around modus but cant remember exact video parts but mike carrols tailslide down that kinked rail always stood out as one of the most difficult things vto do iv ever seen
-
I really dug paul rodriguez's part from in bloom. The ledge lines at night were sick as fuck, still not seeing too many switch flip front nosegrinds. That and his switch tre and nollie front nose on that gold rail were gnarly.
-
Heath in Sight Unseen
Pops in I.E.
Montage in I.E.
Tom Penny in Anthology
Cardiel in Sight Unseen
-
A lot have been mentioned that I'm not going to waste time mentioning again, but Arto/Rowley in feedback deserves a mention, as does this part, muskabeat and all. I would have to say this part is cuh-cuh-crazy:
Brad Staba and Brian Anderson (from Transworld's Modus Operandi) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyOrklvX85c#)
The backside smith at the end is pure sexiness.
And haters be damned, this part is fun:
Transworld a time to shine P-rod jeremy rogers mikey taylor (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivhFnzVrqXU#ws)
Also, the "downtown at night" section in the cinematographer project (cinematographer was a different video) is rad
Not a huge fan of this type of skating, but love anybody getting gnar to slayer:
In Bloom - TransWorld SKATEboarding - "Trainwreck" Alex Gall (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsWEbp0gkPU#ws)
Edit: Stevie in the Reason is the clear correct answer though
-
everything in modus, trainwrecks part and drehobls.
and the gnome bum with his ghostrider
-
1) Krem - NATV
2) AWS - Cinematographer's Project
3) Mike Taylor - In Bloom
4) Bobby Worrest - Right Foot Forward
5) Heath Kirchart - Sight Unseen
How the in the hell did Buster O'Shea not get a section in the Cinematographer's Project?!

Jeremy Klein 50-50 up a handrail in 1995.

That rail MJ 50-50's is soo fucked in real life to0 bad its nobbed I'd like to see Ben Hatchel feeble it.
-
Transworld Skateboarding: New York City (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtbJPHYOVdk#)

i can?t name just one, so here?s my top 3
carroll in modus. ender is probably the most properly executed backlip ever, also sick cameos. i was 13 or so when i saw a sequence of rick
howards fs shove it 50 on that handrail and it blew my mind. one of the first flip to grinds i saw on a handrail and carroll was and is one of the most stylish skaters, you just recognize it?s carroll within a second of the footage.
cardiel in sight unseen! this part gets the most excitement out of me, my next board was a cardiel, the graphic was the best ever and it still hangs in my parents. it?s chimps in suits in rage over some flipchart-graphic. after seeing this part, i started to skate faster and wanted to skate concrete parks so bad!
heath kirchart, also sight unseen. this is one of the most epic parts ever. it makes totally sense that heath always skates alone, because i wouldn?t want to be there when he tried all that shit. i would have shit my pants watching him roll up to half of those rails and hubbas at the time. it?s also the part that killed handrail skating in videos for me. one of the most impressing parts of all time perhabs.
-
Sight Unseen might be the best movie ever . Diffrent kinds of amazing skateboarders with awsome style and great music
John Cardiel . Into from The Gonz . Cardiel coming in with amazing speed , amazing tricks , amazing slams , amazing style , amazing attiutude and a amazing song .
Just such a sick part
-
I think And Now is a pretty underrated transworld video
Gravettes opener in And Now was really good. Most everything he does is sick in that part.
Nick trapassos song choice in And Now is more relevant than ever.
The montage in that video has guru khalsa doing a legit 50-50 down an escalator. Fred gall does an amazing wallride and a ton of really good tricks.
