It's crazy hard to get the money to a car in Denmark, since taxes on the car alone is 200% of its original price. Denmark is one of the most expensive countries in the world to own a car in. The result is that most people drive around in cars with small engines since they are cheaper, and cars are taxed even harder with bigger and more poluting engines.

Until I can establish myself in Career Mode, having/wanting a car isn't my foreseeable future. They're big fund drainers for what feels like, mostly, a convenience. The money I'm saving from insurance would rather be pushed towards living in a neighborhood I want where I don't have to use a car to commute.

Not super fancy, but it's got heated seats, and I'll never go without the Subaru AWD ever again. Plus, this fucker has 160K miles on it and still runs great. Never getting rid of it. I'll be her final owner, and if/when she dies, the only thing I'd replace with is a Forester.

I have a client who is from Denmark and he told me back there he had a VW Gulf and it was around $100,000... I assumed he was full of shit.

I don't really need it, but I inherited from my uncle. I just use it to drive, which is why I'm selling it this summer. Diesel is killing me.

I used to have the '94 camry wagon. Does yours have the full out rear facing back seat? I fit 12 people in that thing once.
