In an interview, he said that Flip wanted him to film more and get more coverage. He was slacking a bit, so they went their separate ways.

not to sound snooty but just fyi im pretty sure it was and now. my short term mem is fried but i watched it the other day and noticed for the first time that was him in the friends section who did the crazy hardflip back tail variation on the angle ledge in shorts and a few other stylish gems
