Hopefully in the future, some other guy will come out with as much natural talent, well rounded-ness, and goofy-ness as Koston had back in the early 2000's. Till then, I'll just have to keep watching these old Koston flicks, feeling all nostalgic and shit...

I miss that Koston. He's still an amazing skateboarder (though this was clearly his prime), but now social media's kinda made me bummed on him.
That being said, I think I'm going to really enjoy this series.
i agree social networking ruined his image in my eyes. I guess that could be said about alot of dudes in skateboarding these days.

and I can't believe these guys skated at Rollerparc Avenue!! (that indoor wooden park, it was in the Paris suburbs...the name alone should tell you how lame it was, but we didnt have much choice in Paris back then)

I feel daewon has become the guy youre envisioning. His offcuts are amazing.
I miss this koston tho, the one who can release amazing joke parts and serious parts at the same time with little to no effort. He had that 180 fakie 5-0 indie ad on a hubba. still has flashes of brilliance.

Yeah some of that footage shows that hes probably been pretty annoying all along, but it's still a pretty sick clip
It s cool seeing him goofing around after the attempts of some of his more iconic menikmati tricks, after years of seeing the makes in the pretty dramatic context of that video
