Title: Fix my Vans
Post by: 360 frip on September 16, 2013, 11:45:40 PM
I've got these, the other day:

They feel great, but I'm having a few teething problems.

They rub my heal and pinch my little toe a bit. How can I remedy this?

Also, is there a way to make them stronger, so they don't go through so quick?

Finally, I want to put new insoles in them and maybe re-cover the uppers.

Thanks for your helping me.

The only way to fix those is with spray paint.

Try picking a shoe that

a) doesn't hurt your feet
b) doesn't skate like shit
c) doesn't look like shit.

Problem solved.

I think I've had the heel problem before(not sure if its the same thing it was like catching the top of my heel bone and it hurt a lot). I used duct tape and like some foam material . just duct tape it down, Seems like you're limited on room for your toes though, too. The only thing I have for squished toes is just bending the shit out of it, like fold sole around a bunch, which doesn't really help a lot or even at all, haha. Toe thing sucks, but best I know is just to wear them, I've had shoes just bruise the shit out of my toes and make them bleed, but after a while it gets better. Also I guess you can wear thinner socks(but this might make the heel thing worse).

those are actually pretty rare/limited shoes.  If your going to skate em just sell em to flight club or rif.la and then you could buy like 3-4 pairs of era pros, half cabs on sale etc.

lol yall need to stop with all these vans threads. niggas need a support group for shitty shoes or something.  "they feel great but they hurt my feet, I want them to last longer, and i need a better insole". What the fuck is there to feel great about?

Either way its not much.

I only skate limited edition Vans that need fixing.

I got some new Disney fabric though and was thinking of making ollie armour. Has anyone else tried this?

I suppose boiling them is the best way to get the insoles out?

these were clearly made for teenage girls about 20 years ago.

shoe goo them and put some spare suede on the heel.

quit crying about them hurting your toes. you can either sacrifice for fashion or stfu.

i suggest you step on the heels and make them slippers.

Point 1: Hey man, didn't you know? Everyone skates in Vans like this these days.

Point 2: Is that in at the moment?
