About four years ago I was skating at the plaza in Vancouver and he rolled up on a cruiser board, switched over to his regular board that he was carrying and did a nollie heel noseslide on a knee-high ledge first try. It was so cool.

Nollie Suski doesn't sound like it should look good but Gailea makes it pretty dam cool, especially doing the BS 180 out on top of straight out to show it isn't a mistake. I thought he was going to be the next big thing, his tech gnar always seemed ahead of his time. I hope he'll come back but I could understand if he is just over it after being so under-rated.

I thought I read an interview with him a while back where he said he was saving up to open a resturant or something along those lines. He was working in Vancouver and doing line-cook work or something, I think. But I also remember him saying he still skates all the time he doesn't really want pursue it as a carreer anymore. Anyone know the interview I'm talking about? Please post it if you do.

I know the one you're talking about. Tried to find it, but to no avail. Remember there being a new sequence as well.

I think he still runs a bar in Van and after darkstar dropped him he was over it. Machnau offered him a spot on his company but he wasnt down . Dude was sick I think he had the first nollie heel bs board too . Classic Canadian story.

That's what I was told by one of the redstar riders. That he wasn't down to ride for them. I his defence red star was the shop board brand for west 49th (the canadian zumez) before Paul Machnau took it over. I saw gailea walking down Main street in Vancouver a couple of weeks ago he was carrying his board. Tried to get a look at what it was but couldn't. I see him skating plaza once in a while. He's real good I tell you what.

Saw this dude skating tonight, don't know what he's doing in Hawaii but seems like he's on vacation with a chick.
Didn't even realize it was him until somebody pointed it out, and this was like the third or fourth time I seen him in a week or so.
Still ripping.
