I had mixed feelings about David getting it. On one hand, he's kind of a nobody, but on the other hand, his thrasher part was fucking crazy.
What if the same thing happens with Nyjah? What if his thrasher part is just kf back noseblunt 20 stair rails? How do you not give it to him?
Also, picture this: Street League takes off and starts to get seriously popular, everyone and their cousin is going to the skate derby, Mikey Taylor hops on the megaphone to introduce nyjah (lets be honest, Mikey has a long career ahead of him as an announcer somewhere) and Mikey says, "NYJAH HOUSTON, EVERYONE! 2013 THRASHER SKATER OF THE YEAR." Boom, now all these hillbillies are checking out Thrasher magazine and thus solidifying its future in this bizarre skate world of 2025.

I'm not gonna say Nyjah doesn't deserve it if he does win its just he wouldn't be my choice. Same with Daveed last year, he fucking earnt it but wasn't my favourite. I can totally see Mikey Taylor as Street Leagues Ryan Seacrest.

Easy, everyone here thinks he's got robot style so it doesn't matter what tricks or how buck he gets. Nyjah's won too many Street League's to ever be SLAP cool. It's almost like he had his own show on MTV crying about his parents divorcing or some shit.

I don't even think Lucas would care about winning SOTY. He seems chill as fuck for the most part (not counting his stripping freak out) with no concern but cruising around, skating. He's definitely in my top 5 favorites. Love his style.
