This, and Suciu parts from Sabo 3 and Cross Continental are my most watched parts of this past year (although i think the Sucui parts may be from last year).
Honorable mention: TJ Rogers, Damn Blind Vid.
I think this conversation should be split into two sections, there is the "holy fuck first watch amazing-ness" then there is the "rewatch 50 times and still gets me stoked to skate". I think the ones that fit both those are Westgate, Suciu and Lilliani the most for me. Nyjah is high on the "holy fuck first watch", but does that really get you that stoked to skate?

I must have been living under a rock. I finally bought the digital DL of Made today and Westgate's part was unbelievable. My first reaction was HOLY SHIT, followed by feeling like a giant puss thinking about some of the things I didn't do this past summer.
This part will be on repeat.

Westgate. I don't think any one single part came close for me this year. Eleventh hour was a great video but as a part Westgate's part alone made me want to skate so bad.

hard to say, but clint walker should get more love. he was virtually unknown, and then put out a part that had mind melting gnarly unconventional tricks on some crazy spots. he fucking ollie body varialed a 5 flat 5 flat 5 and made it look sick too

best part: clint walker, hands down. all his best tricks; in one part; with amazing style; going really fast; with great editing. there are no caveats to enjoying it. its just good. classically good. there isnt a better video part out this year.
best trick: dane burmans ender. everybody whos ever been to philly has seen that rail, through the 90s til now. everything about that rail is fucked. thats something you'd try doing in a videogame and fail at much less real life.

It's all advertisement and product placement, thats the whole point of professional skate videos in the first place. there was no more "product placement" in Nyjah's part than there was in the emerica video. obviously companies have different marketing schemes/budgets but it all serves the same purpose, to get people to buy their shit.

Jamie Thomas Battle Commander. Just the way he can keep re inventing himself, using wide boards and paint them different. He's like 50 and still doing the indoor street rails. Skateboarding needs more original NBD parts coming out. Like shit anyone can film a part when they have a million spots to go to, but a whole part in one place that's what I watc everyday.
