Enjoi- "made in China by small children"

Holy shit, that's to fucking funny.

Didn't HUF always claim American made was the reason their stuff was a little more expensive? A direct quote from the HUF site...
"HUF looks to classic American craftsmanship, timeless vintage design, and an appreciation for fine-and-functional modern detail to produce quality goods that incorporate the past and present to create the future."

I love HUF and have a lot of his clothes but the quality is suspect at best. Shirts are never the same material or same fit and for the price you think there should be some consistency.
-
HUF is now literally "made with blood, sweat and tears"
-
Fucking Awkward.
-
made in emerica
-
awwwww maaaaan....hahahahaha
-
Hahaha, made from Chinese blood sweat and tears

I thought we were talking about how the HUF logo is not in the middle and too much to the left but I guess the 'Made In China' explains that. Haha.

I know the weed socks come from Korea, HUF has a partner who handles the money side of things and could care less about american made anything. Also their warehouse holds dudes from 10am to 10pm some days with few breaks and any dispute to that will lead to them being fired because they are paid under the table, and could care less about anyone but the dollahz. I've heard it happen to a couple dudes that worked there

HUF = the brand

Minor oversight...

No shit Sherlock but when your name is on a brand and you happen to be adored by pre and post pubescent dudes then one would expect some level of quality. But then again he is just a dude who rode a skateboard.
-
Ha thats some funny shit.

All of brand loyalty aside the vast majority of skate softgoods are manufactured just like any other company: at the hands of mistreated workers abroad. Its very difficult to find affordable union-made domestic clothes which is why used goods are usually your best option if you care about ethical consumption.
On that note what are the best most ethical companies to support in skateboarding?

"Cum Slinger"?!? Holy shit dude you just went for it, huh? Respekkt
-
There should be more brands like Domestics. But considering they have the best brand name I think they've got that market pretty much cornered.
-
I had the same thought checking out the tag on a HUF shirt I have. I'm surprised they haven't seemed to notice or be bothered by it yet.

This is what I hate about SLAP ; I have no idea who you are, you have no credibility in my eyes, yet, I believe you and now I'm bummed on HUF...

Just looked in my closet, between 3 shirts I bought all from the same skate shop, one was made in China, one was made in Mexico and the other was made in the US.

No prepubescent dudes know or care who the fuck he is. I once saw a bicycle with the name Tony Hawk on it. I didn't even have to get within six feet of it to tell that it was a complete piece of garbage. But I suppose "shitty" is a level of quality, and that is exactly what I expected. So maybe you're not completely wrong.
And his name is Alan, not Sherlock.

Sounds to me like he's saying that the naive part in this whole thing is believing any company that says their product is american made when in fact it isn't american made.

i'd like to see a trend of hilarious labeling. like "shirt was made by dwarf slaves on an offshore oilrig located in international waters. have a good day, sir!" or "proudly made in the usa/eu. just kidding, of course it's made in china, dumbass."
was it ripndip that had that tag saying "made in the usa by happy immigrants"?

i dont know, but they do have a lot of funny labels
-
I think they had a sweatshirt that had the washing instructions as "don't".
-
Wait, wasn't a lot of Huf gear made in the USA initially? I remember when they would have drops and everything was kind of hard to get since it would sell out quick.I was pretty sure a lot of the gear was USA made, or at least the five panels.
Do they make anything in the USA still? Does anybody have any O.G. gear that's USA made?
edit:
just realized, 666th post so here

They still make five panels and snapbacks in USA, as well as a couple pairs of jeans. I think all of my HUF clothes [tees, jeans, hats] until the past two years are USA made. After they started blowing up, I noticed a lot of tees were made in Mexico.
I still buy their shoes but not their clothes. The only incentive for paying $30 for a tee was the fact that it was made domestically.
-
If it's unintentional then yeah, that's messed up. On the other hand, I had a pair of Consolidated Chinos in the late 90's that had a tag that said something like "made in a sweatshop by poor hungry kids." I appreciated the honesty and man I loved those pants.
-
i dont remember what shirt it was but i had a shirt that said " do not bleach, do not iron, might aswell give it to your mom she know"
im going to look for that shit hahah
