Neil Blender is one of my top 3 favorite skaters of all time but that was a pretty boring read. Blender is walking skate history and those questions sucked. Was like reading an interview in a high school newsletter. I'm surprised he didn't ask Neil his favorite color or what he had for lunch.

Bland is a little harsh.

There was a very small part of me that thought that it would be pretty sick if Blender came back to do workshop graphics if they relaunched. But it seems pretty obvious that he still doesn't give two shits about Alien. He was probably annoyed that he just kept asking about them when he said he didn't care about them.

That was cringe-worthy. Cut your losses interviewer, skip that part of the script and move on. Ask a followup question when Blender says something interesting. Next time, bro.

He's in my top ten but I would say Neil comes off as a bit of a bitter old prick.

Dudes like him you're better off just asking him to tell you stories.....

I think asking him about the workshop is a waste of time....he's done so much more in skating and bounced on it a long time ago...

The interviewer blew it hard! Blenders AWS circa should have been a small % of his questions. The G&S days is where the gold was at.

To be honest, it's more than I expected.  I definitely would have gotten him to tell me a cool/random story.

i think the workshop questions were perfectly fine but he never really answers questions. i tried going back and reading all his interviews just to see what else there was but he's always sarcastic. my guess was that he was let go the same way don pendleton was but who knows if we'll ever get that answer. neil's the shit. everything hes done is timeless.
