Anyone got any advice for flipping into grinds?
-
Get really good at kickflips. If you suck at kickflips, flipping into a grind is very hard.

i'd start learning back at da corner of da ledge into a nice 5050 and then step your game up to where you can choose a target truck.
i'm just kidding kickflipping onto your front truck is easy if you try.

Kickflip bs 50-50 is by far the easiest, so learn that first. If you can kickflip up a curb you can kickflip 50... Backside, so come at a huge angle until you land on it. 5-0 is next easiest, it'll come easy if you got kickflip going backwards

I'll be coming in frontside so maybe a little easier than backsides? I'm feeling super ambitious and the bench I want to try it on is still relatively fresh so it's gonna be a crapshoot.

I never got why everyone says backside is easier.

For the example's sake, assume you're regular: If you're doing a kickflip, your front foot flicks up and left, which kinda shifts your body that direction. And since your foot is already moving that direction, it's easier for your body to follow that way rather than the opposite way (frontside)

I heard MOBing your kickflips helps even more

i think it's like bigspins, most people find either bs or fs easier.
