I purchased them a while back and just put them in my wheels today. I was looking up Bones Swiss bearings online and noticed that these are the same ones I ordered and someone in the reviews said they're fakes. At the time I bought them, they were even cheaper, only $29.99. But it's the same listing and the price went up to $41.94.

Those ones are sold by Amazon, so I doubt they're fake.

Actually, I did get Chinese ones somehow. I looked at my order details, and it says: "Condition: New - Brand New Sealed WITH SPACERS. Eligible for FREE super saving Shipping. Hassle free Money back guarantee. Tracking number provided with each order. China manufacture"
How could Bones Swiss be "China manufacture"? That makes no sense. I think it's kinda fucked that Amazon fulfilled this order, and they must have since it was eligible for and shipped with super saver shipping. Amazon must have changed their fulfillment with this order and I got stuck with a crappy supplier before they moved over.

Dang that's a sick burn. Contact amazon.

They're probably fake. I got ripped off on eBay a few weeks back. I immediately noticed they didn't feel right, and they didn't spin in my hand right either.

looks like this same listing is used for multiple sellers. some people lucked out and got genuine swiss. lesson being: pay attention to the seller's history when buying from third parties on amazon.

They're definitely fake, unfortunately. Sure they'll work in your wheels, but they're junk bearings and definitely not Bones Swiss. eBay and Amazon are both notoriously bad spots to buy those bearings because they're always knockoffs.
Buy Bones Swiss only from your local or from a trusted online skate shop/retailer.

Damn, didn't even think they were fakes. I've had a few sets from Amazon, and I thought a few things happened to skew how the bearings felt, like, one set got fucked (I thought) because part of the wheel graphic flaked off and into the bearing seat (the same way a Girl board graphic flakes) and the other set I skated a spot that is covered in a fine layer of dust... Guess I got the fake ones.

we do the local distro for bones and had some customers send in products they bought of amazon or ebay (mainly swiss and reds) that turned out to be fake. just buy from your local skateshop and you will be fine.
