Hahaha that fuckin sucks for them, so many people have skated that place. 20k sounds over the top, but then again replacing those pieces can't be cheap. I wonder if anyone has ever tried to sue a skate company for the damage done to the property.

I remember reading the owners of EMB tried to get damages from tony hawk/activision, claiming they inspired people to skate and damage their property

I've been wondering if stuff like this would start happening, especially on a smaller, more personal scale, with all cars being skated in videos lately and how popular skating is. The people who's cars get skated on probably know someone who skates and has seen the video and they are posting the evidence online just for an ollie onto a hood which isn't even that cool to start with.

I went to try to skate that thing and had to hide in a bunch of leaves and shit for like 30 minutes while security was buzzing around, then it started raining and we left without skating it. It was a lot of fun.

It's bullshit these 2 cats have to take the full blame for hundreds of skaters. Clearly waterparks international is trying to send a message, and only did this because their friends at the press agreed to run this story. Go fund me in 3...2....1

Hahaha that gofundme is fuckin embarrasing. If you wanna do something stupid and illegal, you better be ready to face the consequenses if you're stupid enough to get caught. And stop acting like 20k is such a ridiculous number. With all the machinery, work hours, legal fees etc. that's probably not far from what it costs to repair the damage

A judge ruled THESE 2 guys caused 20k of damage, 5k bond too. They both look crazy, who knows what they did? They pretty much took responsibility in the gofundme and didn't blame anyone else. If they were innocent you'd figure they would deny the figure fully?

Doubt either of these were their friend's cars ( I know one is a bike but you get the point ) ... and having worked in a garage, I guarantee the damage to both cars to get them back to perfect is thousands
