ok, so Im not rich or sponsored and I break a lot of boards.
I need to know which board brands you guys find almost impossible to break in your experience.

I've never tried one but I'd say try one of the real or plan b slick boards that are plasticy on the bottom. I'd imagine that would increase the life a little

Never had a P2 board, but they seem like they would be hard to break. Do they make those anymore??
Can never go wrong with a Deluxe board.
FA and Hockey seem like some quality stuff, too. I think those are P.S. Stix?? I personally like P.S. I know it's a love/hate thing with them.
Also, what about the Impact boards coming out of Dwindle?? The also seem promising

If you want a regular 7 ply board without getting into P2 or impact plus from Dwindle you should try South Central pressed boards.

Impact Plus, 8 plys, the impact sics and a the inlay. Shapes are usually pretty flat at least the ones I've seen.

i had one back in the late 90s that kinda sucked. it had some plastic shit over the bottom that kept the graphic from wearing away...
then a few years ago, i got my hands on one of their newer models and they are quite a bit tougher to break than standard maple...
some kind of fiberglass plies added, and a bunch of other tweaks to your typical deck construction.
they also keep stiff and poppy longer, but that's kinda tough to quantify.
worth a shot for the budget conscious, it will likely last you longer... i'd be curious to know if others have the same experience as i.

ive had this creature board for 3 weeks. thats pretty unbreakable to me.
and what happened to those board jaws posted a picture of on insta or something? they had 3 stripes going along the board (metal?)
thing it was professor schmitt developing them.

The Libtech construction is insane, if you want the techest of the tech, I advise checking them out.

P2 decks are hit or miss, had a bunch that lasted forever, a few that didn't.
In general though they are tough as hell.
Beyond all that, land on your bolts more, or let your boards get a bit soggy before kick flipping steps and gaps.
Deeper concave also has strength.
Being a fellow board breaker, I feel your pain.

I'll get negged for saying this but I skated one of Lew's boards for 2-3 years and had to retire it because I couldn't pop it anymore. Boards from good shops like Chapmann and pre Made In Mexico Deluxe would snap in about 6 weeks for me.
I think it's because he uses old school glue and lets the boards cure for much longer than is standard.

nope. soggy and when they break them crack weird from the plastic.

I'm skating one of the Real blackout slicks and while I haven't been skating it for long, it definitely isn't soggy yet. I guess only time will tell.

yea man his boards last so fuckin long. i just love the time and effort he puts into r and d, and the hand craft nature of all of his products. he's been catching some flack recently from the local skate community but he still sells product all around outside of the cincinnati area.

i think the black ice boards have a thicker full layer of plastic vs. the real decks having a slightly less aggressive version. aswell plan b decks dont have the best retention in comparison the a dlx deck.

Yeah I've heard about that from him. He was saying he had a shop cancel their orders because his boards lasted too long. I think he asks for it a little bit because he can go on about how skateshops are just their to hock sneakers to kids and that it doesn't really matter what shoes you have. I sort of agree with him because I've noticed that skate shoes have gotten a lot less durable in the past 10 years and are often worse than non-skate shoes, but I think skate shoes definitely have a place. I think the issue is consumers being okay with a shoe or a deck that lasts a week or two.

yea thats his main problem (or not a problem depending on how you look at it) is his boards are too good. shops can't make money on decks that last that long. i think his best bet is to just open a shop himself, which he just did by purchasing a van to sling his product out of. kind of a mobile skateshop sort of deal

That's rad. When I was back east there was a skateshop truck outside of the chelsea piers skatepark.
